"My fiance and I purchased the MSR Carbon Reflex 3 tent when it first was introduced a couple years ago. We wanted a lightweight tent for two people and a dog, and this seemed to fit the bill. We are very happy with this tent and have used it in numerous conditions. It has stood up to some seriously gusty thunderstorms and a week of solid rain, and I have mastered the technique of taking it down from the inside using the fast fly attachments. It is super easy to set up as it is symmetrical and only has three super light carbon poles. The materials used for the mesh and fly are super lightweight, but have stood up to some serious use. The Carbon Reflex 3 weighs in at 4 lbs 7 oz, which is lighter than most two-person tents, but is roomier than most three-person tents. There is plenty of room for the dog, though he simply refuses to sleep anywhere but on my feet."
