"Thank goodness this was invented!" 11/16/09
I am so happy this was invented. I don’t know how many hours of camp time were killed by pumping water… not the most relaxing way to spend the evening. Gravity filtration is where it’s at. Just fill up a water bladder from the lake/stream and let gravity push it through the filter right into your daypack/water bottle etc. For me, this is an awesome lightweight solution (4oz) for my ultralight solo or group kit. Face it, iodine water is nasty.
