This is a great plate. Its very strong. Good size. High edges keep slop from spilling over. Its a staple at basecamp.

"Best camping plate I've found thus far." 06/14/11

I've been camping for YEARS. I've used all sorts of plates and utensils. I picked up two of these from moosejaw last year. The are by far the best camping plates I've owned. lightweight, durable, easy to clean. Also, since they are fairly deep (I wouldn't put soup in it but...) they are great for more messy saucy meals like spaghetti or stir fry. Also smaller foods like beans, peas, or rice. You wont end up accidentally spilling your food all over the ground for raccoons to enjoy :)

"Who needs both a bowl and plate with this" 06/29/09

I got this plate so I could quit bringing both plate and bowl backcountry camping. Now I only have to bring this guy and I'm happy as can be. It's very durable and easy to clean. Only con is seeing as it's metal when hot liquid is in it, it heats up quite a bit.

"Lightweight and durable, great product!" 04/02/07

Another great product from MSR. I purchase these two plates to go with two more I already own. They are very lightweight, durable, and seat and pack easily into my MSR blacklight gourmet cookset. I love how these MSR products pack together to take up minimal space in my pack.

Heavier than the Titanium, but much cheaper! As always with MSR it is excellent quality.
