Awesome portable lightJust returned from a 10 day bareboat charter in the BVI and was greeted by this little inflatable light hanging from the bimini in the cockit of the boat when we first arrived for our first night sleepaboard. 10 LED 's enclosed in a plastic blow up cylinder put out an amazing amount of light, illuminating the total cockpit. A strap on the top and bottom was provided to secure the light in either a hanging or table top configuration and was easily secured to the bimini with a small lenght of line tied loosely to the light allowing it to be tilted at an angle to maximize daylight charging with the solar collector pointing directly at the sun. The 'touch control' buttons on the top, or bottom, depending on which configuration you choose, were easily accessed and cycled you through 3 variations of light. Low, high, and blinking. The blinking setting was really cool for finding our way back to the boat after an evening of dinner and drinks ashore, especially with 80 plus yachts in the mooring field. Easy to spot, as long as yours is the only one with a LUCI light, of course. The light was also used as a night light, on the low setting, which lasted a good 8 hours before it went out. As soon as I returned home, I bought 3. One for camping, one for my motorcycles, and one for my truck. Compact, easily inflatable, light weight, and PLENTY of light for all situations.
