These boots are as everything you need and more!I have had these boots for a little over a month and have had them pheasant hunting multiple times in really wet grass and I stayed dry. I work outside everyday and use them for work as well. They feel like slippers on my feet and are great in any type of terrain. I highly recommend these boots.

Do the Tibet GTX HI boots run true to size? Some of the European boots/shoes run a bit small; some large. Any ideas?
Asked by: Bobh
Thanks for the question! Most American customers find Lowa boots to run a tad small and/or narrow. We recommend that customers buy a ½ size larger than their US size. Hope this helps!

Can you use these for wildland fire boots? Are they approved for that?
Asked by: Joy22
Thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately do not meet the requirement for Wildland Fire Boots. One brand that we carry that meets the requirements is Danner. We hope this helps.

Are these boot insulated at all? Wondering how they'd perform in freezing temperatures and snow.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The Lowa Tibet GTX HI Boots were voted "Best of the Best" by Field & Stream! They're ideal for carrying heavy loads (50+ lbs) over long distances in rugged terrain and extreme weather conditions. They have a waterproof GORE-TEX liner and strap-on crampon compatibility making them an excellent choice for rainy/snowy adventuring.
