Are these boots heavy enough for someone 6ft 215 lbs? I plan on doing trail walking and light backpacking. Do they run true to size?

Asked by: Wwww
Thanks for the question! Yes,these are a pretty sturdy boot. They have great ankle support. The material towards the toe is flexible and not very rigid. If you wanted to go a step up, I would suggest the Lowa Camino Boot. That model is classified as a "Trekking Boot" and will offer more strength and more flexibility without being overly stiff. As far as sizing, I would say they are true to size. I have noticed the toe-box is slightly more narrow- so you will want to factor that it in. I hope this helps!
