My go to boots for cool deep snow.I have three pair of double boots, leather and plastics. The civettas are the work horse shells for me low profile toe box but still roomy. I switch out liners with the othere boots even some sky boot liners to sute the need of the day. I'm getting older and comfort and warmth is high on my list, having been hard on my feet for many years. Fit is the key and these fit me. My warm weather boots are 2 pair of limmer standards and 1 mid wieght, so I'm use to heavy boots. I no long climb around the U.S. but I live on the side of a mountain in Colorado at 9,000 ft so I'm still climbing just walking the property. The national forest is my back yard so I give every boot a good workout. I don't own a pair of shoes, I fish in sandals or waders and I wear cowboy boot for church. Life is past good, it's great!,,
