Great Snowshoes!I broke these in recently at the Lake Brainard area outside Ward, CO. They were great through packed snow and untouched snow. I covered a six mile loop in these. The BOA system kept the shoes in place throughout the effort. This is an extremely lightweight and very durable pair of snowshoes. I picked them as they met US Snowshoe size restrictions for competition and I wanted a snowshoe I could train in and race with if I chose to.

OK for beginners, but not for competitionI bought these in December 2014, used them to train and compete in 2015. These snow shoes do not perform well in loose snow. The BOA systems tends to loosen up every other mile. Not very convenient in a race. It eould appear that one size would fit all, but I have a size 12 shoe and my feet barely fit. I used these snowshoes two more times this winter and the BOA system continues to loosen. I will be returning these.
