DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made and Looks Great I got this coat as a gift for my wife. SHE LOVES IT!! She is somewhere between 135-140 lbs, and the medium fits her fine. There are many subtle features like the zip pocket in the inside lining, the stow away hood, and main zipper that also opens the bottom of the coat. At 5'8'', the coat comes down just above the knees - perfect. She wanted warm coat, that is not too bulky, warm, and one that covers her longer sweaters. She has a "parka" looking jacket, and DID NOT want a "parka" looking long coat too. This coat can be worn for casual or dress - She put it on this AM for with her Xmas dress. Really nice and well made!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. This coat exceeds the standard parka/car coat on the market in style. Excellent details.Fabric and cuffs that last. great length. The coat is very warm. It's almost too hot for 30 degree temps when running around town. Perfect for January and Feb. The high collar keeps you snug too! Parka zippers can be fussy bc they are so far down but this one zips great! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, Warm Winter Coat After years of wearing a North Face Metropolis parka in cold Indiana winters, I was ready for a change. Love this Lole coat. It is stylish and warm; it can be dressed up or down. I have gotten tons of compliments on it every time I wear it. The high neck adds extra warmth, the pockets are lined in fleece, and the drawstring waist makes it very figure flattering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Jacket I've had this jacket for about a month and love it! I wear it to the cold ice rink to watch my kids play hockey and it keeps me very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket Love how long the sleeves and jacket is. Perfect for a cold day but not too puffy like other cold jackets are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better if you're tall I really like the coat, but I'm 5'3 and the torso length and high collar didn't work for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A review on a still new coat I haven't had a chance to break in the coat, but upon the first few wears, here is my review. Coat is very warm, but stiff. Collar is stiff so when it is zipped completely, and with long hair, it is a little annoying. Style is very cute, zipper is great. I am hoping that after a season of wear, it will loosen up a little.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Jacket Roughly one month, since I bought this jacket for my wife. She loves it - Gret features, totally warm and looking absolutely sharp.

Hi, is the hood for this product waterproof? I live in Seattle and want a hood that will keep me dry. We don't have downpours often, but constant drizzle. I can't find anything in the description to indicate if the hood is water proof.

Asked by: imli
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us. While this is one of the cooler coats we carry, the hood is not going to be waterproof. While the jacket itself is made with a waterproof, breathable, windproof fabric with a durable water-repellent finish, the hood is actually a different fabric. Hope this helped you out.
