Love it, works your grip great, plastic seams pretty strong. My dog even got ahold of it, and he didn't manage to bust it. It's helped my grip in the short time I've had it. But I only paid 4 bucks for it, not sure I'd pay 8.
I really like this ball. It's helped my grip in the short time I've had it. Seams to be pretty strong, but I haven't been using it all that long. Then again, its pretty hard to mess up a little ball.
Got this for my boyfriend, and he was instantly enamored of it. I don't know if he went above the recommended use guidelines or what, but after doing what he called "400 reps" a day on it (reps of what, I couldn't tell you — I think he just squeezes it nonstop) for about four days, its resistance was markedly lower. So a great product, but be wary of using it like a maniac, because that seems to wear it out quickly. Guess I'm buying more soon...
Its a bag of little bean thingies wrapped in several layers of rubber. After a couple weeks of squeezing I noticed the first layer of rubber getting worn. Then that layer came off entirely. Soon after, layer two. With less rubber now it wasnt as stiff. Now layer 3 is wearing. The exploding is speculative, but after a month or so this thing is falling apart. Fine for recovery from a discrete injury, but if you're looking for something for long-term training go with a more durable rubber ring or a can of tennis balls (not available at Moosejaw at this time...sorry)
Working my way back into climbing and dag yo, this sure is helping mah grip. Got a little over zealous the first couple days and could hold a pen. I can see where you may need to step up to a more resilient ball at some point, but I'm no where near that. I haven't had any problems with durability but then again, it's on a shelf when I'm not using it...
I have a little bit of ADD and need something in my hands at all times to squeeze. These are great for this, but eventually (a week for me) the goo squeezes out of them. If they ever get it right, I won't have to purchase 6 at a time.
I got this for training my hand during work, I’m a sped teacher and this year suck for me (on the teaching side) life out of the room is great. This thing safe me from know a few head around at school. My hand got past this one quick though. Good choice for offseason or beginner climbers.
