Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gotta have 'em! No, I didn't wear the rubber tip out! It was sucked off my pole by the same mud that wouldn't let go of my boots at my sister's new place which is all bulldozed with these big deep bulldozer tracks all over the place or I would be able to find it and screw it back on.
Lesson learned: tighten the rubber tip every 3000 miles or stay out of my sister's yard when it is raining even if she is moving in and you'd rather be watching Dale Jr lose another NASCAR race.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you got the sticks, you should have these tips. Got these to protect the carbide tips that come standard on the Super Makalu's. They slip right over the standard tips, and just pop um off when your in the dirt. Keeps um from pokin' through the travel bag too.Strained some muscle in my ankle training for the marathon. With these new tips,I can use a stick in the house to hobble from room to room lookin for the remote...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as it gets! I do a lot of backpacking up in the high sierra, so I bought these to see if they will work climbing around all the granite. The Leki instructions that came with the poles said not to use them on rock, only pavement or indoors. But, I can say that they are built tough and were shipped quick!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as you'd expect. Hard to get excited over trekking pole tips, right?

But, FYI, they can be used on the bottom of the Black Diamond Terra CF poles for inside or pavement use. Since Moosejaw doesn't stock the Black Diamond rubber tips, it's nice to know that these work and you can do one-stop shopping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A much needed accessory. The tips are a bit expensive but serve their purpose well. Most of my hiking is on hardpack and ashphalt, with about 80 miles on them, my tips are showing no wear and provide stable traction. If you're hiking on a hard surface the tips are a must have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good protection, just watch the heavy mud! They do their job. Protect the snap-tips, and usually stay on. Just make sure that if you're hiking through think mud that the tips don't come off. I lost one of mine hiking in Alaska, and never got it back. They usually stay on well, though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best (and only) tips I have ever owned The metal collar inside the tip helps protect the point. Great idea. Have started lifting weights to build strength to get them off and on. They fit very very tight and there is no threat they will ever fall off accidently

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice strong rubber tips, I use them for all conditions I use these for virtually all conditions (even when I should just use the carbide tip) and they always serve me well. I've trekked many many miles over very tough terrain using these, and they still have tread on them.
