This boot has everything I was looking for in a Gore-Tex (read Pacific NW), mid-weight, short-backpacking-trip hiking boot. My feet are medium to wideish, size 7, and these fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box, good ankle support, and they have that great, classic look.
