"Great fit, waterproof, and fits feet needing wider toe box!!"

I usually can only wear Clark's Wave shoes or New Balance SL2 styles because all others are too tight in the toe. I needed a Gortex shoe for hiking we plan to do in a rainy climate. After reading other reviews, contacting LaSportiva for fit info, I decided to order a pair. They are extrememly well made, very comfortable, and have an adequate toe box. I can wear either regular or thicker hiking socks with them & no pressure on my toes. They are light weight with a sole that offers an "impact brake system." Not sure what that is & I hope I don't have to try it out! My husband says they even look nice so could be worn off trail if they are not too muddy.
"I'd buy it again and/or suggest it to a friend"

I'm happy with this shoe; comfortable and functional. There is plenty of room in the toe box and heel fits snug enough. the toe is hard rubber to protect against stubbed toes and the shoe is waterproof (gore-tex). The laces aren't crazy long and if you don't double not them, they will come untied easily. they are true to size. I saw a cougar today, but she wouldn't give me her phone number...
