The La Sportiva Women's Bushido Shoe is a lightweight runner for unstable trail. The Bushido has a performance fit with neutral stability with TPU midsole shank for strength. An Air Mesh upper allows the foot to breathe with ripstop added for durability. A TPU toe cap kicks pesky rocks aside as you power down the trail. The FriXion XT V-Groove rubber is sticky for traction and outsole lugs for additional stability.

FEATURES of the La Sportiva Women's Bushido Shoe

  • Internal slip on construction fits the foot like a sock without causing excessive pressure
  • Outsole lugs have rounded edges and wrap over the midsole to provide traction and enhance stability on technical terrain
  • "STB Control" TPU frame on upper wraps over the midsole to stabilize the foot, provide a more snug fit, and enhance stability, while reducing overall weight

LA SPORTIVA FIT GUIDE and INFO

La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.

Please review La Sportiva's size conversion chart above to help determine your ideal size. Below you will find additional information about how to fit and break in the different styles of La Sportiva footwear, which will also help guide you to the correct size.

ROCK CLIMBING SHOES:
• As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
• Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
• Lined shoes stretch about a half size.

ROCK CLIMBING SHOE FIT SYSTEMS:
• PERFORMANCE FIT - offers a high performance fit and a downturned last.
• TECH FIT - a more technical fit and a last with neutral profile.
• COMFORT FIT - a comfortable fit and a last with more volume and a neutral profile.

HIKING, BACKPACKING and MOUNTAINEERING BOOTS:
• Find your US Size in the guide above, then find the Euro Size conversion and add one half size.
• The ideal size holds your toes ever so slightly away from the front of the boot while the lacing system is snug across the top of your arch.
• If you can try to boots on beforehand, make sure you wear the same size and weight socks you would typically wear with the boots, and any orthotics or custom footbeds you use.
• It is ideal to fit boots later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses.
• Wear your boots indoors only until you are confident about the fit.
• Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose.
• Your toes should NOT touch the front of the boot, but when you kick the toe into the floor, you should know where the front of the boot is. You want just enough room to wiggle your toes.
• If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow and the boot will not work for you.
• If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up.
• Make sure to keep all original packaging that came with your boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable, light and sticky! Extremely light, comfortable and sticky, these shoes have all but replaced my approach shoes on climbing trips. I'm impressed with the feeling of stability given how light these are. In my first few treks I've had excellent traction through wet, rocky and mixed terrain. The fit is standard for La Sportiva hiking/trail shoes with moderate arch support and a wide toe box. I'm typically a 39.5 or 40 in La Sportiva and have been happy with the 40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome, awesome shoes! Was addicted to backpacking last year, so bought them to replace the light hikers that the sierra granite wore some holes through. Put on a few hundred backpacking miles on them, carrying up to 30 lb pack, scrambling, bushwhacking, whatever - they held up great. Light. Dry super quickly when my feet get wet (unlike the awful "waterproof" shoes I've tried before...). ,,,,Got into trail running, still wearing these. They are amazing. Up to 30 trail miles a week at this point, they still look and feel as good. Gonna run my first ultra here in them in a month or so, and then take them back to the Sierra in the summer. ,,,,I bought them much larger than usual - I wear street size 7, and got 39.5. But that's really good for downhills. And they fit my narrow heel wider toes foot really well (like all La Sportiva shoes actually). ,,,,So, highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Trail Running shoes! I love these shoes. They fit like a sock but have the support and protection that I want on the trails. The rubber is sticky on slick surfaces and I haven't slipped at all on loose dirt on hills or in a little mud on dewy mornings. My run times actually decreased when I started wearing the Bushidos because I didn't have to worry as much about slipping on certain parts of the trail! The upper mesh keeps your feet cool and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit Haven't had them on the trail(bought for hiking) but look like they'll have the stickiness I'm looking for for the whites.
