"Comfortable, lightweight, waterproof - awsome boot for 3 season technical mountaineering!" 05/21/10

I used it in Caucasus mountains. They are first boots I felt really comfortable, especially during descending. It is like extension of my foot! Waterproof but Gore-Tex needs care using conformable spray. Too gentle leather upholstery but after 1 year active use, it is in a pretty good condition. Elegant design gladdens an eye and looks really cool on the foot. I used it also in conditions which they aren't designed for - on ice mountaineering route but they did really well! Used it in -10 -15 (C) degrees condition and felt my feet warm. Crampons suits well if good sized. Advice: wash it after every use (expedition) with a little bit warm water but not with soap or any chemicals!

"Perfect mid-level boot" 04/17/10

Great for the hike in, crampon up the chute, and scramle to the top of a 14er. Warmth is good, but not great, so perfect 3 season.

"great boot for any hiker that may want to scramble, too." 12/07/09

I love this boot. Fit is great out of the box. It is a great mid weight hiking shoe that outperforms heavier weight models. If you need to scramble, it really shines. I wore these on a recent Wyoming trip, with fresh snow and plenty of icy climbs. The boot was superb, especially on the exposed rock. The toe is especially sticky, putting the performance exactly where you want it.
