pretty good for a first shoe, maybe a little too comfortable without enough control. turned my feet blue, but i think that is a cool feature. a certain someone makes fun of my when i come home with chalked hands and blue feet

"Good shoe for a beginner." 		          05/26/07
Good first pair of shoes. Un-lined natural, so they'll stretch alot. In some cases i found that after a full day of climbing they got a little loose, and I lost alot of control. Not really all that great for extremely small feature.

EXTREMELY COMFORTABLEBLOCKEDKEYWORDORDERED DOWN A FULL SIZE AND IT WENT FROM 'A LITTLE TIGHT' TO 'JUST RIGHT' AFTER ABOUT FOUR HOURS, WITHOUT SOCKS (FEET TURN BLUE). THE TOE GETS A BIT SLIPPY SOMETIMES IN TIGHT SPOTS, BUT OVERALL IT GRIPS PRETTY WELL.

I have a pair of Cliffs, and I like them a lot. The rubber doesn't wear fast, ans they stick. They are great for the price!If you want a great shoe, but don't want to forkl out the big bucks for the mythos or Kitana, this should be your shoe!

I purchased these about three months ago (not from Moosejaw, I didn't know about them yet) and have been very satisfied. They are my first pair of climbing shoes, so I can't really compare them to anything, but I like them a lot. They don't slip, have great grip, and, at least for me, they fit perfectly (not too big, not too small). Defenity a great choice.

"Good all-around shoe with a solid fit." 		          09/09/05
The Cliff is a great all-around shoe. It's not the best edger, or crack shoe, or face shoe, but it does a good job in all areas. The rubber is good and it fits like a glove. (Remember to get it a size or two small. It really stretches!) Also, when you wear it without socks your feet turn this cool blue color that doesn't wash off for a couple of days! WooHoo!!!
