VersatileI bought this because of its ability to accommodate the 9mm fork on my road bike and the 20mm thru axle on my mountain bike- it works well for that, install is easy. The only complaints that I have are that I question how secure it is in terms of theft (of both the rack itself as well as the bike attached) - the cable is cool and all, but wouldn't take much to cut through it. I would like more options as far as that goes. Also, I was using the inno slim fork before I bought this and I preferred the rear wheel clamp system on the inno for my carbon wheels. Too bad it wouldn't work with my 29er

Nice Rack... but some issuesI bought this rack to use with the factory rails and crossbars on a 2014 Ford Escape. If you install the rack in this configuration you will not be able to open the hatch all the way without interfering with the rack. It is about 1.5" too long.,,,,Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the install position. The mount point of the rack to the front crossbar is fixed... as are the crossbars on the Escape.,,,,One suggestion was to mount the rack backwards. I did not like the idea of the tray extending well over the sunroof opening.,,,,My solution was to elevate the rear of the rack using an old Thule loadbar.,,,,After this slight adjustment I am happy with the rack.,,,,The skewer for the fork mount was very stiff at first. Working the lock nut back and forth a few times loosened it up just fine.
