Big, thick and comfy!!I've run the gamut, from closed cell z-pads to 1/2, 3/4 and full sized self-inflating pads. I first bought the standard size when it hit the market, and while it was very good, Klymit introduced this baby!
As far as durability, I've used it for two seasons without issue. It came with a patch kit in a pocket of the stuff sack, but I haven't needed it. AT Shelter floors, tent floors, grass fields and forest floors (with rocks) have't done any damage. (KNOCK WOOD)
I'm a side sleeper, so I like the fact that this pad is thicker (3") than others I've tried. The surface is relatively slip free - and it's w i d e !
Light weight, rolls up easy and stows in a space between my sleeping bag and clothing bag inside my pack - about the same diameter and slightly shorter than a 1 liter water bottle. The V design seems to capture and retain body heat better than any of the straight tubes or gusseted chambers of other pads. Lovin' it !
