"Not to small, not to big its the perfect quick opening knife for everyday use" 03/28/11
The first thing I noticed with this knife was how fast and easy it was able to be opened. It is super fast before I bought the knife I even asked if the thing would be illegal to have ( its not so they say) because it opened like a switch blade its really cool. The Next thing I noticed was how solid the construction was this this is built like a tank and its also made in America which is pretty cool. Go buy this knife!
"Great Knife" 02/23/11
Really great and convenient knife that can be used for a variety of purposes. Incredibly sharp but the safety latch at the bottom pretty much guarantees against accidentally opening in your pocket or when attached to you belt. I don't know how many times I uses this knife throughout the day and 50 bucks is a steal for this awesome blade. I probably would have paid twice as much considering how much use I get out of it. I highly recommend this product!
"Great knife" 11/07/10
I was looking for a knife that I could keep in my pocket or on my at all times since I do a lot of hiking/bike riding. It's small enough for me to carry around wherever and sharp enough to cut through anything I've tried. The safety lock is a nice touch too. It's awesome enough that my Marine husband is jealous.
"One cool knife" 03/10/10
The spring loaded opening is just like a switchblade. The serrated blade is scary sharp... must respect the blade. The directions tell you not to clip it onto your belt, but instead to clip it inside your pocket to keep from cutting your hand off. There is a safety and once you get the hang of opening and closing it safety should not be an issue.
"Lightweight, Sharp, Assisted opening Rocks!" 01/07/10
The scallion is so light and small that you forget you even have it. Quality is top notch. Flips open fast and easily with one hand. Blade comes razor sharp.
"Sharp little blade" 11/06/09
This little Scallion came pretty sharp from the factory. Needed a little breaking in for the assisted opening, but after a few flicks and some FP10, it loosened right up. Handy little pocket knife, but it doesn't hold an edge that long. I love the feel in the hand, the ergonomics are excellent as are most Ken Onion designs. I would love to see this blade in VG-10 or S30V steel. Overall handle little knife. Thanks alot Moosejaw!!
"Nice and sharp, fragile blade" 07/24/09
It holds an edge well and has a good overall design, but the blade is fairly brittle and it's easy to break off the tip. This normally wouldn't be a huge problem, but this knife has an opening assist and the lock that keeps it from opening does not work if you shorter the blade at all.The knife is too easy to open because of the assist and it really needs a lock on it. Without it I don't feel safe keeping it in a pocket.Once open it's a great knife that can be kept scary sharp, and the locking mechanism to keep the blade from closing on you works very well.
"Not the most durable, but performes its duties well." 06/29/08
This knife is sharp as a razor, and the assist works very well. Remember to never, ever, ever pry anything with a blade that is not designed for prying. I broke the tip off of this knife in the first week that I owned it, I just sharpened the now blunt edge tip, but the lock no longer works. Just something to keep in mind, but overall this is a great product.
"Nice little pocket knife." 12/23/07
I purchased one of these for my at the time girlfriend and my sister. They both loved them as they are nice and little and open without any effort. As you can imagine their favorite part was how secure the blade lock felt. Which I knew they would appreciate as you know its only going to open when you want it to.
