The Leek Knife by Kershaw. The Leek series includes some of our most popular knives. And no wonder. Kershaw's Leeks offer Ken Onion's distinctive design as well as the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. With SpeedSafe, the user can smoothly and easily deploy the blade with one hand, either left or right. Leeks come in a variety of handle styles, some with technologically advanced coatings for enhanced performance. For example, the bead-blasted stainless steel handle offers strength and beauty. A handle with black Tungsten DLC coating produces a Leek with a non-reflective surface. For lightweight and a one-of-a-kind look, choose our "smoked" double-anodized aluminum finish in two colors. Or choose our new Pink Leek with it's fashionable pink anodized aluminum handle, the Rainbow Leek with its titanium oxide coating that produces a highly scratch resistant, brilliant, rainbow finish. Also new in 2007 is our Random Leek with a modified Tanto blade for cutting power and chromium nitride coating for hardness and corrosion resistance. For ease of carrying, all Leeks include a reversible/removable pocket clip.

"Great knife!" 12/29/11
It's a good looking knife, no doubt about it. It is a great size where you don't feel like you have a baby swiss in your pocket but also don't feel like everyone is looking at your machete. When you open it it's incrediably smooth and doesn't kick from all the spring loaded power or anything. Great knife!
"Always on my side" 09/23/11
When I get out of the city, I always want a knife on me for some reason. Makes me feel like I'm ready for lots of different situations. This knife is a great size and feels like it's going to last me a lifetime. My first Kershaw knife and I love it!
"I love this knife." 07/12/11
Kershaw makes awsome products for the money. Benchmade knifes are exceptional but a kershaw such as the Leek is about half the price. I am big fan of the assist open and lock feature and carry this as my primary tool into the backcountry.
"Awesome" 07/11/11
I've carried a Kershaw Leek (with the serrated edge) for almost two years now. I use it multiple times a day (opening boxes, whittling hunting spears, scalping..y'know, basic stuff). I've only sharpened it once, and it remains wicked sharp. The assisted opening is badass and only slightly frightening the first few times you use it. Best knife ever. Buy it.
"Flipper fun!" 12/06/09
Great steel and this knife is scary sharp from the factory (I may have accidentally cut my sisters leg playing with the flipper) The assisted opening is the best in the business and is absolutely addictive to play with. This has been one of the knives I carry everyday. I can't recommend it highly enough. Kershaw makes great stuff!
"Guaransheed for LIFE,!" 01/12/09
Well, I can't speak for Wallace, but Kershaw has a lifetime guarantee for this product! A+ Also, I love how lightweight the knife is and the spring loaded release makes it easily portable and usable. A must have for the travelin' woman, well mom felt better about my cross-country travel to Cali [from MI] with it and I wouldn't have purchased a knife from anyone, but MJ. The sales guy knew his stuff, which was a major help in the decision-making process.
"This thing will do it all!" 12/26/08
I have been a EMT for 7 years and a backpacker for about 3. This knife will do anything! I have pried metal off of patients with it, cut seatbelts, clothes, rope or just about anything else. The edge holds great and shappens real easy. If you dont have one buy one just to have it. All the cool kids have one!
"I personally don't know too much about knifes, but I ended up returning it anyways." 04/05/08
This was for my boyfriend. It's the knife he wanted, but i ended up returning it because it was made in March of 2007. According to the bf, Kershaw started using a different better, stronger type of steel for the blade around July 2007, so he didn't want this one. Also, the girl at the register couldn't find the right box, so she stuck it in a different one. It was supposed to come with a leather pouch, but since she couldn't find the box, it didn't come with the purchase.
