The Leek Knife by Kershaw. The Leek series includes some of our most popular knives. And no wonder. Kershaw's Leeks offer Ken Onion's distinctive design as well as the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. With SpeedSafe, the user can smoothly and easily deploy the blade with one hand, either left or right. Leeks come in a variety of handle styles, some with technologically advanced coatings for enhanced performance. For example, the bead-blasted stainless steel handle offers strength and beauty. A handle with black Tungsten DLC coating produces a Leek with a non-reflective surface. For lightweight and a one-of-a-kind look, choose our "smoked" double-anodized aluminum finish in two colors. Or choose our new Pink Leek with it's fashionable pink anodized aluminum handle, the Rainbow Leek with its titanium oxide coating that produces a highly scratch resistant, brilliant, rainbow finish. Also new in 2007 is our Random Leek with a modified Tanto blade for cutting power and chromium nitride coating for hardness and corrosion resistance. For ease of carrying, all Leeks include a reversible/removable pocket clip.

Excellent knife with reliable opening mechanism, hard to keep clean.you know it's dog eat dog out in world and the kershaw rainbow leek knife will give you edge you need to take out the competition. With the niffty index opening device you'll feel straight outta west side story. The thumb opener works well too, but it just doesn't have the same gritty street cred feel that the index opener has. Best of all, the shiny rainbow coloring is great for distracting your enemies right before you deal the fatal strike (at least, I would assume so). The only problem is that fingerprints mess up the surface like no other so it's good to let other people hold it, just so that when the cops find it there's another set of prints on it.

Not quite as hardcore knife-geeky as some others, but a good value and lots of fun.Great knife.. Nowhere near as well made as the stuff from a higher end company like benchmade mini-griptilian or even spyderco delica, but it's sharp!!!!, holds an edge well and opens very well. NOT a particularly good design when it comes to the closing mechanism closing it one handed has your fingers a little too close to the pointy bits but it's definitely a fun toy. The little slider that locks the blade closed is a big weak point and breaks on a lot of these knives, but Kershaw replaced mine for free...which is good, because without it you run the risk of a really nasty surprise when you dip your hand into your pocket for your keys. Kershaw has AWESOME customer service.

A custom quality knife, for a great price. & assisted opening = awesomenessThis knife is amazing to say the least. Im not rally sure where to start. The blade is always a good spot to start. For a knife that cost under 100, one doesn't expect much as far as high quality steel. Most knives are plane jane 440, but this one comes with Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel, which is a Swedish made high carbon steel that will hold an edge longer, is easy to sharpen, and not stain as easily as the less expensive steel. Great attention to detail. Plus this thing is shaving sharp, right out of the box. The feel and balance is awesome too. The build quality is great too. The locking mechanism is solid and confidence inspiring, and even has a neat little finger scoop to keep your ha

Very SlimThis knife is great. I have the non-serrated version. It's very, very sharp from the factory. I have sharpened it a couple of times and it sharpens easily. It's slim enough to keep in a jeans pocket all day and not be annoyed by it. It's not too small, not too large. The blade is just the right length for everyday use. The only problem I've had with it is that over time, the screws holding the handle together work themselves loose. I fixed that by taking the screws out and putting a tiny bit of loctite on the threads. Haven't had a problem since.

I personally don't know too much about knifes, but I ended up returning it anyways. This was for my boyfriend. It's the knife he wanted, but i ended up returning it because it was made in March of 2007. According to the bf, Kershaw started using a different better, stronger type of steel for the blade around July 2007, so he didn't want this one. Also, the girl at the register couldn't find the right box, so she stuck it in a different one. It was supposed to come with a leather pouch, but since she couldn't find the box, it didn't come with the purchase.

Guaransheed for LIFE,!Well, I can't speak for Wallace, but Kershaw has a lifetime guarantee for this product! A+ Also, I love how lightweight the knife is and the spring loaded release makes it easily portable and usable. A must have for the travelin' woman, well mom felt better about my cross-country travel to Cali [from MI] with it and I wouldn't have purchased a knife from anyone, but MJ. The sales guy knew his stuff, which was a major help in the decision-making process.

SleekI am infatuated with the look and feel of this knife. The stainless steel feels very solid when gripped, the knife is perfectly weighted, and the overall design is beautifully simplistic. Opening the knife is incredibly easy to accomplish and the response of the assisted open is comparable to a switch blade. I firmly believe this knife is indestructible, as the all steel design could not get any sturdier.

Extremely sharp- 3 bandaids worthLove it. Everyday carry knife. Holds edge extremely well. Ready to go out of the box. One handed opening very helpful when you only have one hand available. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good quality knife- no need to spend $200-300. Only downside is that it is a locking blade- not fixed. Have never had it close by accident but it can't be as strong as a fixed blade.
