Pros: Very versatile, can fit more than it would seem, nice fit, side packets provide easy access to items, better than many more expensive packsCons: removable hip belt would be nice, lower mesh pockets and side pockets clash a bit This bag is hella dope for light outdoor travel. I use it when I'm going up to visit friends and head out into the woods for a weekend. Would not recommend for multi-day trekking
This Kelty pack is great for an overnight trip, or when I'm going on a long hike with my son (where I'm carrying all of his stuff!). It is very efficient and is a good price. Not too big or cumbersome, but can carry quite a lot of stuff if you're careful about how you load the pack (as all hikers should be). Plenty of useful dividers and interior pockets to keep everything organized. I absolutely love the tightening mechanism on the waist belt.
I bought this pack to use for one or two day ultralight backwoods camping. I have to say that I'm impressed with it so far considering the price. The waist belt sometimes slips loose and needs to be retightened but not that big of a deal. Ample space and ample individual pockets to store things in an organized manner. I do like the ability to strap things underneath the pack if necessary as it does include two strips of tie down points. After buying this pack, I was so impressed with it, that I went and bought a second for my girlfriend as she was wanting to steal mine. I would recommend this for the bargain shopper
