Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pack with a lot of features I bought this pack to use for one or two day ultralight backwoods camping. I have to say that I'm impressed with it so far considering the price. The waist belt sometimes slips loose and needs to be retightened but not that big of a deal. Ample space and ample individual pockets to store things in an organized manner. I do like the ability to strap things underneath the pack if necessary as it does include two strips of tie down points. ,,,,After buying this pack, I was so impressed with it, that I went and bought a second for my girlfriend as she was wanting to steal mine. I would recommend this for the bargain shopper

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag, great for the price. This isn't the most fantastic bag but it gets the job done. I use this on my day trips outdoors (climbing) and it holds my rope bag (takes up most of the space), shoes, chalkbag, harness, 20 draws, ~3 liters of water, and some food. It is "hydration compatible, but it's not really made for it, you camelbak has to be stuffed in there and the tube goes up the top and is enclosed through the zippers... Overall it gets the job done, if you're looking to spend not too much money on a day pack, look no further.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like this pack This Kelty pack is great for an overnight trip, or when I'm going on a long hike with my son (where I'm carrying all of his stuff!). It is very efficient and is a good price. Not too big or cumbersome, but can carry quite a lot of stuff if you're careful about how you load the pack (as all hikers should be). Plenty of useful dividers and interior pockets to keep everything organized. I absolutely love the tightening mechanism on the waist belt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the price Pros: Very versatile, can fit more than it would seem, nice fit, side packets provide easy access to items, better than many more expensive packs,,,,Cons: removable hip belt would be nice, lower mesh pockets and side pockets clash a bit ,,,,This bag is hella dope for light outdoor travel. I use it when I'm going up to visit friends and head out into the woods for a weekend. Would not recommend for multi-day trekking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around pack, just understand its limitations This pack is fantastic! Awesome quality & features/ price. This awesome and very affordable pack is nearly limitless in the possible applications for use while looking great doing it all! ,,,,Good Attributes:,,Materials are all robust,,Pockets Two side- saddle pockets are usable and provide great utilization even when interior is packed fully. LOVE the pass- through design! ,,Organization is great! ,,,,Negatives: ,,Limitation: Understand the fact that this is only 44L. ,,Single aluminum stay frame: In my personal opinion, I felt that 30 pounds was pushing the weight load out capacity. ,,Fixed suspension: This pack specification states a torso fit range as “14.5- 18.5””, although there is no adjustment other than the straps. ,,,,-In summary: As a conventional lightweight backpacker, this pack fit all my necessary gear for temperate summer weather for 2-3 day sustainment. As a traveler, this pack is also a great "pack and go" option for everything! ,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great bag for day hikes, motorcycle, and everything else. The size is perfect on this bag. Big enough I can use it to use it for an overnight on the trail or a long ride on the bike. I like the pass through behind the long side pocket for stashing fishing poles. It fits well and has sufficient support for however much weight you want to put into it.

Can this pack carry 30 pounds comfortably? Or when does the pack start to feel heavy?

Asked by: Leotb
This backpack can carry 30 pounds comfortably. Packing the weight evenly in the backpack will increase the amount of time that you will be able to carry without feeling pooped.
