The Kelty Noah’s Tarp is, quite possibly, the most versatile piece of 68D polyester ever. This square tarp by Kelty is seam taped, comes with pre-made guyout points and comes in three convenient sizes. A few uses for your Noah’s Tarp: ground cloth, poncho, shade shelter and rain cover. Paired with a couple Kelty Adjustable Poles, the Noah’s Tarp becomes a free standing shelter for camping, tailgating or partying at a music festival. I highly recommend putting things under, or on top of, your Noah’s Tarp in sets of two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They thought of everything when designing this tarp. (This is a review of the 9'.) This tarp is made of some pretty tough but thin material. It includes 4 guylines with sweet little easy-to-use tensioners, and 4 aluminum stakes that are really light but really thick. There are several cloth loops along the edges and in the center of the tarp so that you can set this thing up many, MANY different ways. I can easily stuff this tarp and all the accessories down to about 5x14 inches (and even then it could still go a bit smaller), but the stuff sack it comes with is about 5x24 inches. It works really well for 2 people to stay dry, but if you're planning to sleep 3 or more people under one of these in the rain then get the 12 foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! In one year I've used mine as a windbreak on the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula to block Lake Superior winds, to stop horizontal rain from a micro burst near Wisconsin, to save a rained out Labor Day camping weekend in the Sleeping Bear Dunes, to shade a backyard party, and last weekend to hold back rain, slush, and then 12 inches of snow while winter camping. I've considered kite boarding with it or tying it to my Jeep to use it as a drag shoot just to see if it finally has a weakness.,,,,All said, I'm very impressed and would highly recommend this to anyone!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oooh....hmmmm....sorry, but not good. I had high hopes for this tarp, being a Kelty and all. Didn't hold up well against 45 mph gusts. It is made of ripstop......and that worked! The seam though did not stop ripping..... The area of problem was the seam passing along the center loop.'s just not good enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness! Lightweight! BIG! Versatile! I used this for the first time on a two night trip near Mt. Cheaha in Alabama. Wind was high. I staked one side down to ground. Great wind shield. Used trek poles in different configurations. I love it!
