"Good choice for city and country"  11/29/11

I bought these shoes to have something waterproof and airy to bike in over the summer. They did not disappoint and kept my toes protected while keeping my feet cool. I took them to Montana and they were also handy to have on hikes and for water sports. Additionally, they are pretty enough to wear indoors and as a go-to summer shoe. My only complaint is that they seem to get smelly sooner than I would like, though this is easily solved by giving them a scrub with soap and water.

"The sandal that does it all!"  11/09/11

Picked these up for our trip to Kauai. I wanted a versatile pair of shoes for everything so I didn't have to pack my Jersey Shore Suitcase of Shoes. They do the job wonderfully. From the airport to the muddy Nepali coast trail and everything in between. Took them in the ocean when I dove into Queens bath followed by a dip in some waterfalls. When we were done I tossed them in the wash and air-dried and it’s like they are brand new. Well worth the price!

"Don't plan on actually walking in these"  09/07/11

I splurged and bought these thinking I could use them hiking on some of my favorite trails that cross through streams. Wrong! I was so exitied to get them that I put them on to take my dog for a walk. The heel strap begin to irritate my foot immediately. No amount of tightening or loosening helped. We didn't make it half a mile before I had to take the things off and walk barefoot! If I could have gotten the blood stains out of the straps, I would have returned them. And did I mention they're ugly? There is so much rubber around the toes, they look like clown shoes! On the plus side, I can wear them to wash the car and they look like they will last forever!

"LOVE!"  08/15/11

Keens are the best shoes for the outdoors! They are good for climbing, water, running, anything that involves the outside. The only complaint i have is that my feet tend to sweat in them quite often. I have the chocolate brown with turquoise and they are really cute. I definatly reccommend for kids and also for adults.

"My Second Pair of Keen's!"  04/06/11

I love all Keens. I wear these every day to work (Dental Hygienist) and never complain about having to - unless its a rainy/snowy day in which case I bring close-heeled shoes. These are good for looking outdoorsy, but if while using them on mountainous trails, rocks will sneak into the shoe easily. So stick to paved trails or less pebbled terrain. If you are looking for comfort, fashion and light adventures these are definitely the shoes for you! They are very durable!! I typically destroy a pair of shoes every year, but with Keen shoes they still look good as new after 4 years!!

"Definately worth the money!"  07/05/10

Yes, these are some spendy sandals. But this is a case of you get what you pay for. I bought a pair at a local store that was going out of business, and loved them so much that I ordered myself a second pair here. My mom has had Keens for years and never had any problems with them, they hold up VERY well. We both have some foot pain issues, and these sandals are SO comfortable!! I love that my toes are protected when tromping around in the river where I can't see all the rocks, they are very helpful for those of us prone to stubbing our toes.

"Great All-Around Shoes"  05/02/10

I've had my Keens for years; I bought a pair after borrowing my sister's back in the day. I wear them all the time and they're still in great shape. Sometimes they collect little rocks when I walk through gravel, but they're so easy to get on and off I really can't complain. I love that I can wear them in the water and they don't slip. They're well worth the money.

"I had to purchase these shoes 1/2 size up from my normal size"  04/25/10

With some Keen shoes, (I own 3 pairs), you have to buy 1/2 up because of the short rounded front toe area. With this particular style- Newport, I had to go up one size but with another, I didn't. So, what I am suggesting is that Keen shoes are tried on first before purchasing online. Every pair I have is so durable and the rubber soles are like rubber tires. It takes a long time to wear out the soles so figure on keeping these for a couple of summers.

"Love these!!"  04/08/10

These sandals are really well constructed so I know they'll last me forever and the footbed is super comfy too! People need to know these shoes run borderline true to size.....meaning, if you are a true 9 you might want to go up a half size. I am an 8 1/2 to 9 depending on the style of shoe and these sandals couldn't be any smaller and still fit me.

"Little rocks are annoying..."  04/06/10

Bought this for a trip to costa rica a few years ago. Very comfortable, no break-in required. However, for being "river" shoes these were terrible! Super slippery and tiny little rocks get in the sandal from the back end and get stuck under your toes and the balls of your feet. You have to keep taking them off to empty them out. Really annoying for outdoor use, great for casual.
