Rated 3 out of 5 by from fall apart quickly, no more eVent I've had a pair of these for 2 years now but within 6 months of owning them the area around the toes started separating. Also the rubber on the sole started pulling away within the same time frame. With a little encouragement from shoe goo these have made it through some great adventures in the UK and all over the US. These do make a great travel shoe as they look good for many different situations, are comfortable for long days on your feet, and adjust to varying terrains. However, between the quality issues and the switch to Keen's proprietary lining it is doubtful a new pair will be on my feet anytime soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe for all situations Although a college student, I find time to go backpacking at least twice a month. I would not take any other shoe but the Targhee II. Very lightweight for its durability and excellent waterproofing that has stood up to many hikes through mud, creeks, and rainstorms - always keeping my feet dry and breathing incredibly. I also wear these shoes around campus and find them the most comfortable shoes to walk in no matter what the conditions or the time of year. If you are on the fence about this shoe, don't think for another second. They will last you for years if you take care of them, making their durability better than any other shoe out there of comparable price and characteristics.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe... some construction flaws I have had these for just under a year now, and have been pleased with how they performed. They are really comfortable (awesome wide toebox), and the rubber toecap is a plus! I have used these for everyday wear and for a dayhike here and there. The waterproof liner works great and have kept my feet dry on many occasions... my only complaint is the lack of durability on the sole (the right, front, inside cleats have separated from the midsole). I submitted a claim to keen this weekend and hopefully they will replace them! overall great shoe! good buy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes are The hiking shoe to get. Waterproof. Shock absorbent. Heel+Ankle support. Bad Ass. When I sought out my new hiking shoes, I looked specifically for a sturdy waterproof shoe with good ankle support. After trying on a bunch of shoes I found a solid shoe that was not only what I was looking for but was comfortable to wear. The leather obviously takes a while to break in. The back strap ankle and heel support made the shoe very stable and I tore through the Black Hills in my new Keens! I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who not only wants to trek out and adventure, but look damn good doing it too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Couldn't find the right size Awesome shoe! But, I just couldn't find the right size...I have a couple of other pair of Keen shoes, and usually wear a men's size 10 in the brand. However, even the size 10 in this one seemed really too tight across my foot, especially compared to other Keen models. It may just be me on this one, who knows. I usually order a standard D width and have never gone to a Wide. I will need to send these back, not due to quality, but simply due to the fact that I can't make them fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent all around shoe- These keens are great shoes. I have worn a pair out hitting the trails of Costa Rica and walking the streets of Europe. Perfect all around shoe from trail to city. Comfortable, watertight, good grip and great support. I tend to go through a pair of these a year. When I trade them out the primary surface wear is on the soles. The tops are still solid (beaten and bruised but still stitched together) while the soles are worn through and nearly slick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shoe, great for everyday or just trail days.. Have has these for well over a year now...I love them, wear them to work everyday as I spend alot of time on my feet outside on mixed terrain (pavement, grass, snow, mud).,,,,I have found they are extremely comfortable and have been very durable. I have super wide feet and they are probably the only non 4E shoe I have ever bought that fit comfortably right away. No complaints at all, just a great shoe over all and more than worth the price tag...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very confortable shoes, but the color is a little "off" These are my 6th pair of Keen hiking shoes and they are very comfortable, as usual! Like most Keens, they run a little small so I would suggest that you order a half size or full size up from what you'd normally wear. My only (minor) complaint is that the picture makes these look like they're sort of a like charcoal color. In reality they are MUCH closer to being brown with a little tinge of green.
