Extreme comfort right out of the boxThese boots are great. I received my order in great time along with a clever catalog/activity book and a sweet Moosejaw sticker. I wore these boot on a whirlwind Christmas shopping adventure with my fiancé that spanned two states, 6 hours and way to many girls clothing stores. However not used for their intended purpose. My feet were the only part of me that didn't complain of discomfort. I can't wait to try them in the woods.

Durable shoe but very uncomfortableI bought these boots about a month ago and wore them around for a few weeks to help break them in before a backpacking trip. During my trip the boots held up great but they rubbed both of my ankles so bad that I almost couldn't finish the trip. I tried them on again a week later and they still are uncomfortable for me. I am thinking of trying the Targhee II and not the mid.
Thanks for the question. This boot does not contain any reflective technology in the construction.

What is the diference between the Targhee II & the Targhee II Mid - TAC?
Asked by: ETxxxxxx
Thanks for the question. The Targhee II Mid is a mid-ankle length boot, so it will be higher and more protective to your leg than the Targhee II, which is a regular hiking shoe and has a lower rise.
