The Men's Newport Sandal by Keen is designed to perform in the adverse conditions, the razor-siped outsole and 3mm lugs provide excellent traction. The Keen Newport is a true hybrid, the waterproof uppers withstand the abuse of saltwater and dirt, while providing supple comfort and stylish looks. I personally enjoy my Newports on excursion out to Stony Creek, especially in the Summer, go for a nice walk around the nature center, it really makes for a great date.

These things are awesome. I had a pair that I wore nonstop for a year. Then I bought a pair the replace them. I'm still wearing the 1st pair after 3 years. They are kind of falling apart, but nothing a little super glue doesn't fix. As a main pair of shoes nonstop for 3 years these are AMAZING. By nonstop I mean everything from thru hiking to go to the bar to weddings. I've lost hope on even trying to ever love another pair of shoes as much as I love these.
"Look better than the H2's. Not as good in water"

I bought these for trekking the La Ciudad Perdida trek in Colombia. I'm due to leave for this in a couple of weeks but I already feel I may have been better off with the h2's for the water crossings. While the leather looks much better than the nylon webbing of the H2's, the foot bed doesn't dry as quickly as my friends H2's which when continuing hiking can be a bit uncomfortable. They are great for cooler footwear in warm climates and I love the toe protection on rougher trails. These are never going to win style contests, but for a sandal, the leather makes them look much better than some other brands and better than the H2's.
They are the most comfortable, versatile, durable shoes that I have ever worn. I did have to go up a size larger than I normally wear, so keep in mind they run small.Free shipping luv it :)
These sandles are great. They are very comfortable with the cord loose for every day walking around, then tighten them up and they are full performance shoes that you can hike and run it.
I have worn these just about everywhere when the temperature agreed. In the summer, if I'm not wearing work shoes or hiking boots you can bet that I'm wearing these. Sand and rocks find their way into uncomfortable places in these but outside of hiking in rocky terrain or running at the beach...they're always with me when the weather permits. They're are always in my pack as camp lounge shoes when packing. Irreplacible.
I got these for my husband for Christmas. He loved the look (real leather, made well), but were a half-size too big. We returned them to Moosejaw for the correct size and now we're both happy! The customer service at Moosejaw was incredible, as usual... we continue to be lifelong customers!
I got these last year right before I spent a few months in the Caribbean. I wore them in all types of conditions: freshwater, saltwater, long rugged hikes, beach, and just walking around town. They are very comfortable but I do try to shower with them every once in a while because they can start to get a slight funk when you get a lot of dirt/water inside them without rinsing. They have saved my feet so many times from jagged rocks and rough terrain in the water. I love these sandals and recommend them to all my friends. As far as the size...I got mine 1/2 size bigger than normal and they fit perfect.
"If Jesus wears sandals, I bet they're Keens."

I bought these before heading out into the Boundary Waters (BWCAW). These sandals totally rocked my world. I now wear them year around - everywhere in summer, and around the house with socks on in wintertime. These are VERY comfortable, and offer great support. When my feet are sore from wearing dress shoes all day at work, I come home and slip on my Keens.
Bought these a couple weeks before a stint in the bwcaw, for which they worked great! never used my boots once... I was walking the canoe over sharp rocks and through the the rapids (to grandmothers house we go! ) only problem was after the week long trip, the leather had started to come un-stitched from the lining.
I bought these for a rafting trip. I've had Keens before, and they've always done the trick - these are no exception! Sturdy enough to provide protection and support, breathable enough to dry out fast, and they don't get "funky" like some of my other Keens do. Exceptional traction on wet rocks. The drawstring can come loose on its own, but not bad as long as you tuck the excess into the side or top of the shoe. Very durable, as they took a real beating for 5 days in a row. Even had success as a make-shift climbing shoe! Only real downside is that they weight a ton when wet.
