Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid hiking shoe. The Keen Men's Marshall has absolutely met my expectations. I primarily use this shoe for light hiking and mountain biking, but it also works great for just working around the house. After about 4 months in the shoe, it has held up well and the waterproofing actually works. It runs true to size. My one critique would be comfort. While not unbearable, the insole that comes with these leaves something to be desired. I would recommend finding a replacement insert, as I have done.,,,,All in all, a great hiking shoe that has the solid aesthetics of a trail runner but the performance of a boot. Definitely recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from feetgasim I've had the honor to purchase these keen hikers from the folks over at moosejaw. I have searched the planet for well over a year before I stumbled on these puppies. I patiently awaited their arrival to my feet, once the packaged arrived I could hear music coming from within the shoebox. I carefully, but steadfastly open said box. the hikers magically jumped out, which startled me slightly, and found themselves to feet. I instantly felt a comfort I have never before felt, it was amazing. after just a few steps, my feet had a feetgasim. it was incredible. after a short break, the urban trails were mine! please caution yourself, they also make you run fast and shred the wooded trails!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved them I bought these because my girlfriend loved to hike and I figured I would be dragged along. Let's say it was it was the best choice I've made since being introduced to this world (outdoor adventure world),,The shoes are comfortable from the get go, not to say some breaking in isn't necessary but compared to other shoes they just seemed to work. The toe space was the biggest seller and while these boots only lasted a few hikes, in 4 countries (including a desert, a glacier and standard woodland) these boots lasted 43 hours a week every week for a solid year before the backs came apart (Full disclosure I didn't untie them most of the time, which probably didn't help as I slid them off and on frequently). ,,,,The one thing I wouldn't recommend them for is ice climbing, they don't fit in crampons very well and slipped off my foot a few times. ,,Looking forward to getting my 2nd pair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Little support with a firm ride I will preface this review by stating I have flat feet that pronate easily. With that being said, these shoes have very little support and minimal cushion under foot. I liked the spacious toe box, which many other hikers lack, but these shoes were just too minimalist under foot for my paddles. Just wearing them around the house made my feet hot, but with the appropriate socks I am fairly certain that my feet would have breathed a bit easier. In the end, these were close, but just not there for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, good looking I have many pairs of Keen. I buy a size up and not much room left in this shoe even after the up sizing. Some Keens feel like wearing cardboard where they do not roll with the foot but rather slap down on the ground - these do this a little but getting better with wear. They are now my go to casual shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe from Keen, but WP liner makes it a bit warm These are a great offering from Keen. They are durable, run true to size and seem to grip well in most conditions. My only cautions would be that the heel is a bit on the loose side, and due to the waterproof nature of these they tend to run a bit on the warm side.
