"everyone has a pair" 11/09/11
My whole family has a pair. This is the second pair for our daughter, they were the perfect shoe for summer. I would say my only complaint is the smell. Wearing them all day makes for a nasty odor. But that aside, I would still by this shoe over and over again..

I am normally very happy with keen products but was so dissapointed with these. They just wouldn't stay on my 14 month olds feet. They were sized right but just kept coming off within minutes of me putting them on. I ended up being out the money because I couldn't return them after he wore them already.

I own several pairs of different Keen shoes and sandals. Bought these for my son in place of the other brand with the velcro straps. These are by far way more comfy and rugged. We have walked around Disney, hiked in the mountains of NC, white water rafted, walked through rocky streams and climbed slippery slopes. These shoes handled it all. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Will be buying these until his foot gets to big and then he'll get the adult version. Love these Keens

My brother got these and wore them to Disney, the beach, and everyday playing outside. They are so great because you can get them wet, dirty, or whatever and they are well ventilated and cushioned. Plus, they just look precious on little feet. Definitely a good purchase.

I took a pair of these camping and fishing with my family and was surprised. At the end of the trip my feet didn't hurt at all, in fact they felt fantastic. They held up to the water and dirt and still hugged my feet like a cloud. A great sandal for the price, your feet will thank you!
"Great waterproof summer sandal for kids" 10/12/10
My daughter got a lot of use out of these sandals this summer. The playgrounds near our apartment all have water fountains so I wanted to get her a waterproof shoe. These were great because she could easily go from climbing the jungle gym to running through the water without changing shoes. I really like that they are not open toe. I tried to air them out so they dried completely when she wasn't wearing them.

Most parents chose shoes for their kids based on "cuteness". These are up their on the cute-scale, especially when they match the parent's keens!But, more importantly, children need appropriate support (arch, heel, ankle) in order for proper spine development, posture, etc. These shoes are not very supportive. It's easy for a young child to twist his ankles in these shoes. Also, if this is your child's primary shoe, he/she will develop wider, flatter feet. Lastly, the big rubber toe-box is easy to trip on, especially for younger children. This shoe is good only in limited use, specifically for camping or at the beach or river.

My son got his first pair at 18 months. He's now on his 5th pair, and we're passing his old ones on to his little sister. These shoes are protective, waterproof, and completely kid-friendly. Even at 18 months, my son was able to get these shoes on by himself. Beach, camping, school, garden; the H2 is the perfect shoe. I'm planning to buy him a pair every time he outgrows them, especially since he can pass them on to the sister. Because no matter how hard he plays or where he goes, they still last.
