Yahooo! WE WILL SURVIVEI once spent a day in the bowels of the MSR R&D dept. We were trying to create the perfect hi altitude stove. I showed them all our tricks for eeking out performance from a canister(sitting the cartridge in a bowl of water, sleeping with a bunch of cartridges and regularly trading them out). When I showed them the idea of turning the stove over, they freaked. The flame got pretty wild. And they got scared. ,,It took the gang at Jetboil to figure out how to tame the flame, without turning it into a whimp. The result is the Helios system and I love it. This stove is my choice for my next expedition.

Total cooking solutionHot. Fast. Jet engine roar....and it all fits in the pot. Throw it in the pack - and no worries. I love the durability of the unit, as I am hard on my stuff. Everything is built solidly on this unit, and folds away nicely when you're done. If you cook for more than 1 person this unit is a few ounces (not many) more than the popular FLASH model. Full flame control from inferno to simmer barely there blue flame. Only issue you'll have is with the black lid. If you don't pack everything back in just "so" you'll have trouble latching it down.

This is possibly the greatest cooking system EVER!i got this baby for christmas and i use it for EVERYTHING. I take it ice fishing, camping, back packing...i even take it to work with me in the winter to make soup. It heats up SO fast and takes up practically no space. I was really amazed at its efficiency. I used it to cook soup while ice fishing 2 weeks ago, and even right on the snow, the heat didn't melt any of the surrounding ice, all the heat went to the pot, amazing. It was 15 degrees outside and cooked a can of soup in like 4 minutes, awesome!

Super quick, super useful, super easy!I used the jetboil for many trips now and it's super nice! It beats other stoves in speed boiling contests and works very well! It's extremely usefull when you cook for more people. Once a small piece of sand got stuck in the pipe and clogged it, but it was easy to clean it myself. It also packs away in itself which is very nice! (inlcuding the second pot) Should be used on hard surfaces though, because it will burn the grass underneath it! (at least if used with side walls for extra efficiancy!)

great stoveI got this for christmas and just recently took it out. its a bit more complicated setup, but i used it to cook for 3 people, so it wasn't so bad. its a great system for cooking for multiple people at the same time, but if your just cooking for yourself, its a bit more work than its worth. once its set up it works great, even in the wind

it is the right choiceThere is a large bowl and a small bowl, enough for five peopleï¼but too heavy.I try to boil a litre, no imagination in so fast. But the family out of the door, it is the right choice.
