The Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System adds more enjoyment to your favorite outdoor adventure. Like all of Jetboil's innovative systems, Flash is an all-in-one design, combining burner and cooking vessel in one compact unit. Everything you need is stacked and stored inside the 1.0 liter cooking cup. The camping cooking system lights with the click of a button and within two minutes provides two cups of boiling water for cocoa, coffee, instant soup or a gourmet freeze-dried meal. The newly designed burner secures the igniter, protecting it from bumps along the road. The Flash is designed to be one of the safest cooking solutions out there. The cooking cup clips onto the burner, preventing accidental spills, and the fuel canister tripod ensures overall stability. The insulating cozy has a color-changing heat indicator that signals when contents are hot.

"Super quick, super easy, that's what she said." 05/21/12
The whole system is so perfectly designed. The only complaint I can think of is that the plastic lid has lost some of its seal - which is only problematic when the whole kit is packed into the cup. Watch the product used on youtube - or witness a friend using it - and the product sells itself. Super light, small, compact, high functioning, and perfectly designed - even down to the temperature-sensitive, color-changing paint (the yellow stuff in the picture just to the right of the jetboil label) - no need to open the lid to check if the water is boiling! Bravo jetboil!
"Buy it!" 05/03/12
I took a chance based on the reviews and purchased the Jetboil Flash (green). I really didnt research this out because I was in a hurry to get a stove for an upcoming backcountry trip. I couldnt be happier about the Jetboil. IT is fast and works everytime. We started at the same time with some other folks that were heating up their meals and basically because the Jetboil is so fast we were already done eating by the time their water was ready with there (other brand name stove). Great Product.
"Great for quick hot water" 04/30/12
This product is great for quick hot water for freeze dried meal and hot drinks. I have owned this jetboil for about 11/2 year got the coffee press and could not be happier. The jetboil works great but does have limitations I was thinking of getting a skillet attachment to make it a little more versatile
"Super happy" 04/30/12
I've only used it to boil water for instant coffee or oats, but it heats water in no time. IT packs inside itself including the tank, so it fits easily stow in my pack. Assembly is cake. Handle and design works. A nice utensil holder on the side. I would recommend this system.
"This thing is Great!" 03/12/12
I just hiked 29-miles on the AT and my JETBOIL was awesome! It worked perfectly in fairly cold weather (25-30 degrees F). Some of the other guys that I hiked were envious, they had other cooking systems that stored in two or three pieces...the JetBoil is compact and stores in one place. It's perfect for making a cup of hot chocolate or heating up an MRE. AND, it really does boil 2-cups of water in 2-minutes!
"No problems after 4+ years of use." 03/09/12
I have the original, all-black version that came out in 2007(?). Loved it then, love it still. It has some minor design annoyances, but those have all been solved by JetBoil. It's a "PERSONAL Cooking System" and that's really where it shines. Once you start adding extra pots and pants and coffee presses, you get away from the original purpose of the system, which was to have a nice, compact little cylinder for all your cooking needs. If you're cooking for a group, and you're going to be bringing extra pots and pans, get a different, lighter, cheaper stove. But, if you're going out on your own, this is perfect.
"The only problem is that they didn't make it sooner." 02/15/12
It's lighter, more compact, simpler than any other cooking system. The ounce or two that you might save will cost you a couple minutes each time you're hungry. The only drawback is that the fuel canisters aren't recyclable...
"Way user friendly" 01/19/12
It isn't the lightest, but it is fast and convenient for boiling water. I like how the pot mates to the canister which is nice for holding it. I have the hanging kit, and it is really nice at a bivvy or for cooking in the vestibule of a tent.
"Great Buy! Compact and easy to clean" 12/19/11
I bought one for myself, loved it so much i bought another as a gift. This Jet Boil is so easy to clean and it stores super well! I take this on camping trips, day hikes, and even road trips. it's deep enough for water to boil when you need to make mac and cheese which makes it perfect in my book. And it's really easy to use!
"This thing is incredible" 12/10/11
Very compact and fairly light weight. It boils water in about 90 seconds. The burner, stand, and even the gas canister (if you get the smaller size) will fit inside the cup. I think mine might have come with a French coffee press but I don't remember for sure since I got this as a birthday gift. Best birthday gift I have got since my Baltoro 70. The way the JB is designed along with the cozy allows you to drink coffee straight from the cup without burning your hands. It is good for freeze dried food but if you have a larger group of people it may be inconvenient because it only boils about 2 cups (recommended for safety although it holds more than that) at a time.
