Rated 5 out of 5 by from Betty Crocker of the Woods Tested this out last weekend on a trip to the Adirondacks. All I can say is I am very pleased. It heats extremely fast, is well built, and break downs and cleaning is a snap. Also the cover on the stove has a temp gauge which is very useful. This package with the french press saves money then buying everything separately. I hate pooping on the trail, nothing like a little coffee in the am to get everything moving before you set off. Also on a side note, it helped me light wet logs to start a fire at the campsite. *Can also be used as a blowtorch for the inner Pyro in us all, Smokey the Bear does not approve this statement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superfast and awesome! Many times, getting a cup of coffee as fast as possible is more critical than breathing oxygen. Due to the integrated heat ribs in the bottom of the pot, this thing will turn your water boiling in no time. And combined with the coffee-press, you are in caffeine-heaven. Of course, its also great for just boiling water for meals or other purposes. Nice that everything fits inside the pot when packed together, however, normal sized gas canister won't fit, inly the smaller jetboil-type does. Many people complain about piezo-igniter failing after time, but i normally use a lighter, having the piezo as a backup in case i forget my lighter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now we're cooking with gas! Compact, Quick, and Colorful Typed a great review but it was too long so here's the cliffsnotes:,,This is a great little cooking system. Everything packs inside the cup including a 100g JetBoil fuel canister and the pot support(purchased separately) making for a very compact system that's easy to store and carry. The burner lights easy and burns very even. It's best for heating water for hot drinks or dehydrated food. I cooked rice in it and that worked great. The cup is very easy to clean and even the sticky rice wiped out easy. The whole thing is well made and seems very durable. The coffee press doesn't seem as durable as the rest but makes a way better cup of coffee than instant.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This system is awesome.....Get it! In the box: You get everything you see in the picture (Duh!). One thing not shown that it comes with is the universal stove attachment (allows you to use any pot). ,,,,When packed you can fit everything including the gas canister. Packs to the proximate size of a nalgene bottle. ,,,,When used, water boils very fast (hence "jetboil"). Orange heat indicator is right on target with a rolling boil. 1 cup measuring line on included cup that attaches to bottom (cup works great as a cup/bowl). Coffee press works awesome. The coffee tasted better than my system at home.,,,,Overall.......awesome stove. Wouldn't use anything else!,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Stove that boils water super fast. The name "Jetboil" is exretmely fitting for this stove. It boils two cups of water in 2-2.5 minutes on medium heat. The attached container is convenient and everything, including the fuel canister, packs inside it. I haven't used it long enough to see how long a whole fuel can lasts, however I have heard that it lasts approximately 60 minutes from people who also own it. I have to have coffee in the morning and I love the java press. It is easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. It also comes with an adapter so you can place a pot on top of the stove instead of the cup. No cons as of yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great, Super Compact First, to anyone who says they can't store the coffee press in the Jetboil if there is a fuel canister inside: I have the Jetboil branded compact spoon, fork, and rod for the press tucked in the sleeve on the side. Inside, from bottom to top: coffee press (threads up), fuel canister, pot stabilizer, canister stabilizer, burner assembly, with a bit of space left before I cap it. ,,,,This thing boils water fast, the first two boils blew my mind. The coffee press does take some time to master and I won't lie and say I'm not getting a lot of grounds through right now, but I have friends that have grown apt enough to get very minimal grounds in their cup. ,,,,You can't beat this stove in my opinion. Highly, highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and fast! Super quick to boil, and when you are done, everything fits back into the cup! No separate tank, pot, and stove taking up space in your pack. The fuel is expensive, but its so fast to boil you don't need as much of it. The fuel is harder to find and I would venture a guess that you'd be hard pressed to hike into most towns and find it on a thru-hike. Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee has negated the press for me as it packs smaller and clean-up is non-existent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly light, economical and functional Stove! Used one of these bad boys on a three week hike up in the Australian high country in a wide range of conditions and used three 100g fuel canisters over the 3 weeks. Boils water really quickly and the insulating cozy makes handling the stove really easy. The best feature of this stove is its size! everything packs inside the cup and providing you're not cooking for more than one at a time this is perfect for any serious hiker or someone looking to travel light.
