Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely neccassary for Jetboil system if you love camp cooking I usually only get out for 1 or 2 night backpack outings, so I make up for the lost time (thus lost weight) by cooking gourmet backcountry meals. In doing so, I've even found some superlight yet still gourmet recipes I've been pocketing for longer trips. Either way, a regular camping pot is useless with the jetboil. It is amazing that the heat sinks really do an amazing job distributing the heat and making pot cooking useful on the trail. This is the fist system I have used where you get a pretty even boil rather than that super concentrated hot spot ubiquitous to backcountry stove setups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Pot! I've read the JetBoil is good for boiling water and that's about it. Not true. I was able to slowly render bacon and cook delicious scrambled eggs with cheese in the GCS pot. I was very impressed with the wider pot and don't think the new frying pan is needed for simple camping cooking. I highly recommend the GCS for couscous, rice, or any dish that requires steaming. Camping food doesn't have to be unhealthy, and the GCS helps in that department.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness I bloody love this pot. One of my favorite parts of backpacking is coming up with creative meals to cook on the trail, and this pot along with the jetboil system makes it so much easier. This pot has much better balance and does not tip like other pots i has used. I swear so much less now that I cook with this pot! It also packs nicely; the stove, fuel, and utensils all fit inside. I love it so much I even like to snuggle with it at night...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Mac n Cheese on the trail... Great for Mac n Cheese on the trail... or in the dorm room at 4am studying... this is a great addition to the jetboil flash or pcs. Solid construction and even though its big to pack it can hold lots of other stuff, so it winds up working out just fine. Make sure you clean it right away though as its wicked hard to get it clean if it sits in your pack too long. Love this pot, it opens up so many options for my flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of gear This thing is great. I've cooked bacon and eggs, hamburgers, chili, and disgustingly large portions of mashed potatoes out in the middle of West Texas/New Mexico backcountry with this thing. I've owned this for about 5 years and it is still in fantastic condition. The fluxring really seems to help evenly heat the pot and shield from wind. If you have a jetboil pcs, just get it, you'll use it and like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have with the Jetboil System If you are heating up anything more than water, this is a must have with the Jetboil System! We have cooked eggs, mac and cheese, potato soup, you name it, out on the trail and it works great! It can be very hard to clean though so letting it soak while you chow down is a must. Also, the lid can get warped and with time we have found it is tough to get back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What if I want some freakin' eggs and sausage?! So the Jetboil personal cooking system is great, Right? (answer: yes) But what if you are out on the trail and you find a chicken with eggs...? The only thing you need is the Liter FluxRing Pot. This pot is perfect for cooking eggs in the morning and browning up that sausage to throw into the eggs. On the plus side, the top and bottom covers double as plates!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This pot will not get you high. FYI: you should also purchase the jetboil pot holder/ stabilizer to use this pot with your jetboil system. Only complaint is that the lid does not have a steam hole like the jetboil cup and is a tough fit for the pot (mine pops off if not fit perfectly, maybe not everyone has that problem though?)
