"Life saver long-johns!" 12/13/10

I bought these for a trip to Alaska in the winter and wouldn't have survived the outdoor hijinks without them. They're still fairly thin and fit like leggings, despite being a mid-weight wool. They fit perfectly under my more form-fitting jeans and were just the thing for playing in the snow and way-below-freezing weather. Sleeping in these was heaven and they kept their shape even after being worn a few days in a row. They do not itch and they will never stink. You can throw them in the washer and they won't pill or stretch out. You have to line dry them because they're wool, but they dry quickly! If you want a base layer, but will be indoors a lot, go lighter--these are really warm!

"Crazy warm." 10/20/10

These are so thick they almost feel like neoprene. Perfect for under snow pants or work skirts ("don't you freeze walking to work in that skirt?" No.). Absolutely no danger of punching a hole through them, as I've done putting on my 150s. Quick drying and non-odor absorbing, as wool should be.
