Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

ICEBREAKER MEASUREMENT GUIDE and FIT INFO
• Please note that all the info provided refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
• If your body measurements are midway between two sizes, go to the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.
• If your body measurements result in different sizes, Icebreaker recommends using your chest measurement for tops and your hip measurement for pants.
HOW TO MEASURE:
Chest - Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist - Place the measuring tape at your natural waist, which is the narrowest point on your torso.
Hips - Place the measuring tape around the fullest point on your hips.
FIT INFO AND DETAILS:
Slim Fit - A snug, close-to-the-body fit for low-bulk layering.
Regular Fit - A fit that is neither snug nor loose. Garments with this fit can be worn solo or over other layers.
Relaxed Fit - Loose-fitting lightweight layers. Ideal for more casual use.
* You can find the fit info for Icebreaker styles in the product description features and specifications.

Touring in BeijingFabulous jacket that I rolled and packed in my suitcase and it came out without any wrinkles. Wore layers under it and climbed the Great Wall, toured the Forbidden City, visited Tian'an Men Square, went to the Peking Opera, and flew to Xi'an for the Terra Cotta Army Museum. This jacket took it all and even had yogurt spilled on a sleeve and washed off easily. Was great on colder windy days with a light or medium weight merino thermal and something like the crave long sleeve hoodie and warmer days by itself or with just a hoodie under it. So glad I had this for my trip to Beijing.

Please make a new hood I can zip into my jacket!I agree with Fanoficebreaker, this jacket is perfect with the exception of the tiny hood you have to hold down over your head. If you did come out with an updated design, please consider making EXTRA hoods that can zip into these original versions of the jacket! I would gladly even pay a little bit for a big comfy updated wool lined hood that stays on my head and keeps my hair dry so that I do not need an umbrella. It would be better than buying a whole new jacket for that purpose. Other than the hood, this is the most perfect jacket-I love how I can dress it up because of the long sleek look and it works in such a wide range of outside temperatures - I don't think any of your other jackets could substitute!

Beautiful but Zipper is a PainI LOVE this coat and feel great in it because it has a really nice slim silhouette. My only complaint is the double zipper can be a pain...its takes five or six tries and two hands to zip up correctly. When you're caught outside in a downpour (this morning) or trying to unzip with one hand while lugging tons of groceries (this afternoon) you'll wish for a coat that's easy to get on and off on the first try. While I absolutely love the jacket, it sits in my closet a lot more than I'd like because of the double zip issue.

ZipperI loved this coat. The first coat I ordered my husband and I could only get the zipper to work about 1 out of 10 times, so we returned the coat and asked them to resend another coat. We were excited, the second coat arrived. This time we could only get the zipper to work about 1 in 15 times. And my husband is an engineer type!! Unfortunately , we have to send it back again.

Coat keeps me warmThis coat is stylish, lightweight and easy to carry around. It keeps me warm. I am born and bred in the tropical region and the weather is hot and humid all year around. I survived the European winter wearing this coat without wearing many layers under it. Thehood is useful and keeps the rain off. I would recommend this coat.

Stylish but big around the middle and not sure it will be warm!I bought this coat for a winter coat. Not sure it is that. This coat is VERY thin. It is lined with merino wool, but it is very hard to tell by looking at the coat that it has this lining. It is really hard to tell from feeling the inside of this coat that it has this lining. The neck fleece lining seems very warm and comfortable. The double zipper at the bottom is a great feature but has been very hard to zip every single time I have taken this coat on and off. The front pockets are a little high to put your hands into but slope down into a more natural location. I like the angular sleeve design. The coat is very fitted. From the back this is flattering. From the side it looks as though there is too much material around the midsection--for reference I am 5'4, 115 lbs, body shape straight up and down. I want to like this coat but not sure it will work as a winter coat and be warm and not sold on the looks of it due to seeming excess / bulky material around the middle.

Need Petite sizesI bought this coat and I love it, and the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not five is because Icebreaker still does not make petite size clothes. Which is a bummer give the cost of the coat.
The coat is great againts the rain & wind.
