I have been wanting to add a wool short to my cycling wardrobe for many years but was always turned away by the price. After suffering yet another cold wet ride, I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy these knickers figuring I'd wear them a few times a year. Well, turns out these are now my absolute favorite pair of riding shorts. Even when the temps warmp up to spring like conditions they are simply perfect. The wool isn't scratchy, keeps you warm when wet (or not wet) and doesn't overheat when the temps get warmer. The fit is comfy for my stubby legs and the waistband doesn't bind. I'm 5'2" and 115lbs and ordered a medium- perfect fit.
