Great for someone with huge handsMerino wool, so soft, warm, breatheable. I really like these mitts more than any other I've owned (I'm more of a glove guy), but I wish they weren't one-size-fits-all, as it means that even for a guy with average size hands (medium is really snug, large fits nicely) they are almost comically large on me. For an average woman, even worse. For the same price, I really recommend the Icebreaker Sierra Gloves, same fabric and design but a very nice fit (I have the medium and they are wonderful).

Great for general useI got these in hopes of keeping my fingers warmer than regular gloves do for my commute to work. That's what I got! Flexible and thin enough that I still have use of my fingers but does a great job keeping the old hands warm.

Pretty thinUseful when my hands are in my pockets. Very thin, and when it is windy, wind flies right through, the gloves are not useful for protection. Somewhat useful when jumping into the car with a cold steering wheel.
