"Amazing!" 05/07/13
Like many people, I was a bit skeptical of wearing wool in hot weather for hiking, but this thing lived up to all of the wonderful things I've been told about merino wool. It doesn't feel like the wool I remember from years ago, it is soft and very comfortable. After several hikes on warm days without washing the shirt, it didn't smell... that never would have happened with cotton or any of my synthetic shirts. It's expensive for a shirt, but the fact that I can wear it backpacking without offending my travel companions makes it worth the price. If you are thinking of wool as a scratchy material reserved for cold weather, think again and give this shirt a try.
"Very nice shirt" 04/09/13
Fits very well, with a slightly looser fit (great for post-gluttony wearing, so one's gut doesn't stick out.)The fabric is lighter, great for warmer days or yoga classes. \The price is excellent too.
"Super comfortable, very lightweight." 03/12/13
This is my first Icebreaker T-shirt. I have used many different moisture wicking shirts over the years but have NEVER worn one as comfortable as this! The long cut is very nice and they really mean it when they say it doesn't stink. After finishing a mountain bike ride the shirt smelled great, I however did not. I have never seen a garment before like that and I will definitely be getting more of these.
"Durable enough and light weight" 02/28/13
The fabric on this seems stronger than the previous 150 weight Icebreaker I owned, but get the 200 if you want better durability. Just wearing around town or exercising, it should hold up fine, but if you want a hiking shirt, opt for thread that won't tear or stretch out as easily if you catch a branch or gets pulled too hard. Of course, 200's weigh more and can be too warm, so it's good to keep a balance on hand.
"Fantastic....unless you live in a humid place" 11/27/12
These shirts are great. Super soft, don't pill, not itchy, and they always look new. I feel like people brand merino as the do-it-all fabric, but the one thing it doesn't do well is manage stupid amounts of sweat. Being active in Arkansas means that will happen. It just gets soggy and sticky, and never dries out. Go synthetic for that...otherwise, wear this!
"The best in merino wool t-shirts." 09/07/12
As for quality: Besides the silky soft feel of merino wool, the shirt sturdy and really well made.As for function: This is the year round t-shirt. Hot or cool, rain or shine, moving or lounging; you will not be uncomfortable. As for fit: I'm 5'7"/38" chest/32 waist; not the typical American biuld. So, these shirts fit great. Not too loose or tight and slightly larger neck holes. I've worn SmartWool's NTS T-Shirt and Ibex's U-Sixty, they don't fit as well as the Tech T Lite.As for Style: Composed of the most active inteligent fiber, this shirt is for the active inteligent man.

"Great shirt not too crazy about how it looks when i begin to sweat tho." 03/22/12
Shirt was great, breathable, didn't really smell from what i could tell and the fit all be it a little tight/sporty was relatively comfortable. The only dislike I had from the shirt was that when i began to sweat it looked really weird and made for some not so attractive pictures. Of course if you're going for performance and nothing else the shirt was great.
"Amazing" 01/09/12
Took two of these on a 2-week backpacking trip to Hawaii. I couldn't have made a better choice. A very light and comfortable shirt to wear when backpacking in warm weather. They do not get smelly even after a full days hike in hot weather. It will keep you cool and air dries easily when you do need to give it a wash, which wont be often.
"Even if you stink the shirt won't." 10/31/11
I'm a big Icebreaker fan, and what they say about the no--stink is true. You can wear this shirt working out or mountain biking, and keep it on when you are out and about without worrying that you are offending delicate nostrils.
"Great shirt, but avoid if you're sweating A TON" 08/06/11
I've had this shirt for about 7 months now, 5 of which was spent backpacking around Europe. For that use, I'd give it a 5 star for sure...no smell, quick to dry after a sink wash, looks great (wore it to clubs and into the woods). However, some people review that it's great for running/mb/etc, and I have to disagree with that. In Arkansas, humidity in the summer is crazy, along with 110 degree temps. If you are going to be sweating like crazy, leave this thing at home; it gets waterlogged and will not dry out unless you take it off. It also gets kind of heavy when it's doused in sweat.
