"Awesome!" 05/07/13
I love this product from Icebreaker. I have several of their other products, all really good, but this is my favorite. I have it in 2 colors, a light grey and a dark grey. I have had one for several months and liked it so much I purchased another. They are comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. I wear them at leisure and for exercise. Unlike synthetics they don't hold odors, so they can go a while without washing. ( I have 2 so I always have one clean) I like them better than my cotton T's because when wet and sweaty they still function to keep me warm.
"Very warm and Comfortable." 03/12/12
This was the first Icebreaker product I bought, but I love Merino wool and the hefty discount made me decide to give it a try. I am about 5'8" 150 lbs and I got a medium. It fits like a glove, very warm and versatile. The loop holes in the sleeves are great and seem very durable. All in all it is a great shirt, very comfortable.

"Evertyhing you want but...." 02/25/11
I love icebreaker. I own several garments that are awesome. This has everything you love about icebreaker. Comfortable, warm, can wear it forever before my wife tells me I'm disgusting but it's too short in the body. I think I'm proportioned normally. Wearing a pack it consistently rides up. Running a chainsaw it leaves my lower back exposed. That sucks. Try a different style if you'll if you'll be wearing a pack or bending over.
"Best top I have ever worn!" 01/11/11
I'm actually wearing it right now as I write this review. This thing is the best. The zip-up turtle neck does wonders for when the wind is blowing or you need that little bit of extra warmth. The thumbholes are AWESOME for layering other things. This thing NEVER smells and is the warmest piece of clothing I own. Also, climbing in this is a breeze - I can work on a hard V4-V5 and still be completely dry due to the wicking effect this has.
"Potent base layer, but annoying care requirements" 12/21/10
The good: Soft and comfy, looks good, and very flexible. It won't keep you very warm when worn alone, but for the thickness it has, it's pretty impressive when you pair it with a soft shell or something else on top.The bad: You can't put it in the dryer or it shrinks. Some people might not mind this, but I really hate not being able to use a clothes dryer. It's dusty as hell where I am at so if I hang it out to dry, it just gets dirty again which defeats the purpose of washing it. But if your circumstances permit and you aren't bothered by this, then I recommend this shirt.
"Freakin' Sweet !" 12/17/10
Like everything I have purchased from Icebreaker, the 260 Zip is an impressive garment. I use these shirts mainly for aerobic activities such as cycle spinning, step class, and most of all - cycling/touring. The wool doesn't develop stench nor itch. The quality is unsurpassed. I even wear these shirts casually. Being in Grand Forks (and Spoons), North Dakota, these shirts help keep the soul nice warm, especially when the temperatures hit -65 F.My only complaint is the actual size of the garment. I am 5' 9" (~ 180 lbs) and I choose to wear the 2XXL because of the torso length. The sleeves tend to be quite long as a result. I wish there was a XL-long option. I like me shirts long & baggy.
"Good fitting and comfortable" 11/25/10
You don't have to worry about this shirt not fitting you without having tried it on. I normally wear a Large, and the Large fits me perfectly. I have just gotten it and haven't had time to get it drenched in sweat, but thus far it is very comfortable, no tag on the neck to scratch you, nice and soft. I would like to emphasize that this is a "base layer" and will not keep you very warm on a cold day by itself. The wind cuts right through it, so it is good for when you are being physically active in the cold, but not for just hanging out unless you are in the sun and its only just "cool" outside.
"great midweight base layer" 11/11/10
This item is incredibly efficient. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, pull moisture off your body, dry quickly, keep you warm, and repel odors. Keep in mind it will not dry as fast as a comparable synthetic base layer; but it won't become permafunked either. It mildly itches before the first watch but that goes away. Fit is true to size and thumb holes are useful.
