The Icebreaker Men's Sierra LS Zip is a merino wool long sleeve for skiing and hiking in cold weather. The 260 midweight has a regular fit, which allows a thin base layer underneath to insulate you from the cold. On even colder days, or ones that come with precipitation, a hardshell can easily be worn over top. The merino wool is soft to the touch and allows your body to breathe instead of overheating. The two zippered hand pockets and single chest pocket secure small items close to the body, like keys or lip balm. The thumb loops keep sleeves in place and bump up the warmth of your hands as you trudge through the snowy trail.

• Please note that all the info provided refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
• If your body measurements are midway between two sizes, go to the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.
• If your body measurements result in different sizes, Icebreaker recommends using your chest measurement for tops and your hip measurement for pants.
HOW TO MEASURE:
Chest - Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist - Place the measuring tape at your natural waist, which is the narrowest point on your torso.
Hips - Place the measuring tape around the fullest point on your hips.
FIT INFO AND DETAILS:
Slim Fit - A snug, close-to-the-body fit for low-bulk layering.
Regular Fit - A fit that is neither snug nor loose. Garments with this fit can be worn solo or over other layers.
Relaxed Fit - Loose-fitting lightweight layers. Ideal for more casual use.

Not as durable as I would have hoped. Also not windproof. Otherwise good. The good about this jacket? ,,,,It's sharp looking and wicks water away wonderfully, making it feel warmer in a light drizzle than other jackets. This jacket does quite a nice job of shedding heat when it's warm out - I wore it in 75deg weather without sweating - while still keeping you warm down into the low 50's, high 40's. It's very good as a 3 season jacket. It also works wonderfully as a mid-layer under my shell when skiing as it is form fitting. To round it out, this jacket is machine washable despite being wool.,,,,Now for the bad.,,,,This jacket is not windproof...at all. Those low 50's and high 40's I mentioned before? Add in a mild wind and it will strip every last bit of heat off your body. I would reccomend wearing it under a more windproof jacket. It has taken to pilling up quite a bit on the inside after only being washed once and worn regularly for about 6 months. I must say I expected more. Also be careful around anything sharp, I've already snagged the sleeve.

icebreaker addictI keep this handy for running errands and around the house when the weather is a little cooler. Will use it as a base layer as the temps drop. The color blue is great!
