ICEBREAKER MEASUREMENT GUIDE and FIT INFO
• Please note that all the info provided refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.
• If your body measurements are midway between two sizes, go to the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit.
• If your body measurements result in different sizes, Icebreaker recommends using your chest measurement for tops and your hip measurement for pants.
HOW TO MEASURE:
Chest - Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist - Place the measuring tape at your natural waist, which is the narrowest point on your torso.
Hips - Place the measuring tape around the fullest point on your hips.
FIT INFO AND DETAILS:
Slim Fit - A snug, close-to-the-body fit for low-bulk layering.
Regular Fit - A fit that is neither snug nor loose. Garments with this fit can be worn solo or over other layers.
Relaxed Fit - Loose-fitting lightweight layers. Ideal for more casual use.
* You can find the fit info for Icebreaker styles in the product description features and specifications.

Get it. Now.Best investment in my wardrobe I have ever made. Feels like you should have been born with it on. Keeps you warm when it's cold, then adapts when it's warm. I promise you will want to wear it everyday. And it never picks up odor. It will smell worn, but not offensive. When you buy this, you're supporting sustainability in the clothing industry. It comes from a totally renewable resource and is TOTALLY biodegradable. When you are tired of this shirt(you won't ever be) or you use it to the max, you can bury it in the ground. Fo' realz'. And the treatment of Icebreaker's merino sheep is way better than mainstream clothing merino sheep.

nope, no wayi hated this thing. im 6'2'' 190lbs and bought both a medium and a large hoping to send back the one that didnt fit. i ended up returning them both. the medium was to small. i managed to get the large on but it was to tight and did not want me to raise my arms. it wasnt long enought in the waist creating a belly shirt whenever i rasied my arms or bent over. and the tags. oh man the tags on this thing are gynormus! the huge one on the back i could feel and whats worse they put one on the side too! just as big as the other one. they could take a lesson from patagonia. oh yeah and the sleeves are to short. oh yeah and it was itchy!

Great... If you're Gimli, son of GlóinI really do wish I could say that this is a great shirt, but it is weirdly short. I am 6 foot 1 or 2, but I hunch a lot, so for all practical applications I'm shorter by a bit.,,That being said, a medium does not make it to my waist. My wife occasionally wears this shirt and she, being 4 inches shorter, always mentions how short the shirt is. ,,I would have exchanged it but the cost of shipping it back and shipping a larger version to Canada would have been more costly than simply buying another one.,,Maybe it's real comfortable and warm. Who knows. Maybe I'll try it on my lab and ask him since his limb to torso ratio may be more appropriate for this item.

Great.. but sizing is offI typically wear small or medium shirt's depending on manufacturer, but after finding that both Smart Wool and 33 Degrees' wool base-layers fit about perfectly in size small, I decided to get the Oasis in a small too. The icebreaker fits much, much differently. The shirt's arms comfortably fit my frame but without even lifting up my arms, I could tell that the shirt was not long enough. If I lifted up my arms, my stomach would be exposed and the shirt wouldn't stay tucked in.,,Would be a great shirt for a short person with long-arms, but if you are tall and somewhat lanky like I am, Smartwool or 33 degrees is the way to go.

Warm, Cool, but itchy...Its true what they say. This is my first Merino wool item, and it does cool me down when im hot, and warm me up when im cold. The quality of this product for something so thin and made of merino is amazing! The box it came in and the tags are first class.,,,,I am 5'11" 167lbs medium athletic build. Most of the shirt fits perfectly...the arms are slightly tight on my though.,,,,The only reason I didn't give this 5 star is because my skin is much more sensitive than others...and I get some minor itching from wearing this top, but I'm sure most people would be fine with it (hopefully it gets better after the first wash).

Excellent fit and functionI bought this as a base layer for cool and cold conditions. The 200 weight fabric is soft and stretchy. The material seems relatively lightweight in hand, but once on it is extremely warm. I am completely sold on Merino. It breathes well and dries quickly. I am 6'1" tall and thin and find it difficult to find long sleeve shirts that fit my 38" torso and still have long enough arms to reach my wrists (normally 35" center back arms). This shirt in size M is cut perfectly. The the shirt body length is short but the tail is slightly longer in the back. I have a relatively short torso so it works fine for me.

Excellent Shirt, but a little expensiveI bought two of these while traveling in New Zealand. They are much cheaper there. These two shirts are my primary running and bumming around town shirts. I let one hang dry after a run and were the other, then run in it and put on the one that was hang drying. No smell. This shirt with a pure nylon wind breaker is good for 15-40 degress F depending on the effort level. Nice long sleeves (6'3" and lanky, 157 lbs) a Large fits me excellently. Breathes well enough that when i forget a T-shirt for the gym, just were this shirt and roll up the sleeves and sweat a bit more. Been thinking about getting another, and the only thing holding me back is price, might use the my $10 coupon to get one...

Great product, good value, very happyI couldn't justify spending $90 on a winter base layer, so given the concept of layering, I decided on the $50 (on sale) lighter weight base then adding a thermal type shirt over it. I don't like running around in just my base layer anyways, it is called a BASE layer for a reason. All that aside, the Icebreaker Oasis is an awesome shirt. Fast drying, odor annihilating, super wicking super powers make this shirt a must have for any outdoor enthusiasts. Under Armour is good stuff, but it has a different purpose. The Oasis is designed for the average guy, not the hardcore top althete, and in my opinion is a must have for the hiking/camping/backpacking/ANYTHING outdoors(wo)man <-- idk, dont ask.
