"Functional good looking, and ready for multiple days of use without a wash" 06/22/11
Very happy with the quality of all the icebreaker items Ive purchased. The chase crew is no exception....used as a base layer for a 2 week ski trip in the rockies and did not wash it once. Will not hold the stink like the synthetics will, stays warm when wet, but dries quickly. Very soft against the skin, the different panels under the arms breath well, i had no problems over heating. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is willing to spend a little extra to get the next level of quality and functionality out of their gear.
"No stink, comfy and I look good in it!" 05/17/11
I am slowly changing my whole wardrobe to Icebreaker gear. Great quality, built to last and can be used for all activities. I use my Chase Crewe Top for runs on chilly mornings, base layer on winter bike rides and under my dry jacket when kayaking. Icebreaker can not be beat!
"Icebreaker lives up to its reputation" 02/25/11
I bought this shirt for my boyfriend and he loves it. The quality and fit were perfect. He uses the shirt as a base layer for colder days, but for the most part wears the LS Crewe Top as an every day shirt during the fall/winter because it's so comfortable.
"As Advertised!" 02/08/11
I've been wearing icebreaker since the nineties and it never fails to impress. I sweat like the guy on the deodorant ad (ie: fire hydrant pits) so love the ventilation. Added bonus is that you don't get the permastink, being wool, like you do with synthetic thermals. Can wear it in public without looking like the douche that wears his running gear out. Even though you are wearing running gear out. Love the thumb loops when it's a little brisk. Shouldn't all long sleeve shirts have that option? All in all a quality , versatile garment. Go on. Buy it. You know you want to. You won't regret it!
"Another beautiful piece that" 01/22/11
I'm 173cm and 78kg and loved the fit of the Chase so much I got a crew version as well thanks to the advantage of easier layering when there isn't that extra zipper. Close fit without being tight, easy to wear as casual shirt without being overly flaunting your physic great pores placed in under arm and back for extra venting. Comfortable single layer to lounge around in 18C temperature, handles jogging in 6C with eVent hardshell easily, stays warm despite soaking in your own sweat!
"The most comfortable shirt ever" 10/08/10
I have been wearing icebreaker shirts for 3 years now and I found them extremely comfortable and fit extremely true to size!! You can work play even work out and the ability of the wool to absorb sweat and you don't even have body odor that would offend anyone!! It is amazing how that works!! You can throw them in the washing machine to wash and I throw them in the dryer and pull it out before too long so it doesn't shrink too much!! The good thing is when I have forgotten to pull them out of the dryer and there was some shrinkage I just rewashed them and they came back to fitting they way they should!! I so highly recommend icebreaker clothing
"Breathable ~ Non stink~ & makes me want to exercise," 05/01/10
Icebreaker is about as good as it gets. A bit expensive but I would rather have 1 shirt I love than a half dozen I tolerate. So from that angle it is actually a bargain. Recommend to all who look at the bigger picture.
