"One of my favorite shirts ever" 04/09/13
This shirt looks and feels fantastic. It fits like a glove, does not absorb bad odors, and has a very rugged look and feel, yet it's not scratchy at all. I think this is the best color out of all the wool products I own, because it looks like it's undyed, even if it is.I recommend it highly, because it looks and feels great, and because it enhances one's own olfactory presence.
"Decent underlayer" 01/17/13
Been using as a base layer for mountain biking, hiking, and trailrunning. While it does the trick with pulling moisture away from the body, it can be a little uncomfortable as weather climbs above 80... Warm weather people may look to something lighter
"NICE Crewe Top" 12/15/11
NAMO AMITABHA. This crewe top will wrap around your body. I love the cutting and soft feel. If you have love handle and want to hide under it, think twice. Otherwise, I will highly recommanded for someone who is in good shape. Namo amitabha.
"GREAT SHIRT" 08/16/11
i have worn this shirt a lot. i last used it on a 3 day float trip. wore it everyday without it being washed and it didn't get all stanky. highly recommended. nice and soft. pretty snug fit tho, was hoping it would be more loose when i bought it. not tight like a compression under armour shirt, but snug.
"Wonderful merino wool" 04/22/11
It was my first Icebreaker garment. They advertise on the odor free characteristic of merino wool, but I wanted to know by myself. I wore it for 2 weeks day and night... and became an Icebreaker fanatic! You should try it.
"Awesome shirt" 05/25/10
This shirt is the bomb for a base layer, the odor thing is definitely a big plus when you have to wear the same thing for a number of days. The shirt feels great and looks good. Recommended for sure !
"sleeves come up short" 04/30/10
Wool has its advantages, but my synthetics are cooler than this shirt in the hotter weather. Love merino, but I just happen to be one of those few people who actually washes my clothes on a regular basis. So the smell thing doesn't matter to much, unless I'm out in the woods--and that's why folks like merino, too. But the really shortcoming of this short, and I have plenty of fitted ones, is that the sleeves are just too short in relation to the shirt itself. Has nothing to do with hugging your body; they just come up goofy short, even on the XL--too short--and I usually wear a M or L.
