The Icebreaker Men’s Aspiring Jacket is a clean, streamlined, casual fleece jacket from Icebreaker's Real Fleece line. The Men’s Aspiring Jacket offers natural protection from the harsh cold with 320 g/m2 of pure Merino wool. The two front hand pockets and front chest pocket all zip up, providing tons of room for a wallet, keys, your phone, even the number the Starbuck's barista finally left on your cup sleeve. If you're looking for a casual fleece jacket that will take you anywhere from the Friday night lights to a holiday pub crawl, this Icebreaker fleece is what you're looking for. A piece of advice: this guy has a pretty trim fit. If you like a loose fit, consider sizing up.

"Different from what I expected, but in a good way" 02/01/12
I was shopping for a fleece jacket, mid-weight, high quality... something to wear around the house / office, or outside on cooler days. I expected a soft, somewhat fuzzy cotton fleece. That is not this jacket. This has a very smooth, finished exterior, and it's wool... and not just any wool, but New Zealand merino wool. Workmanship and quality are top notch.I am 5' 9", 185lbs. The large has a comfortable but trim fit, but the sleeves are quite long. My dress shirts are 33-34" sleeve, and this jacket is easily 1.5" longer. The arms are also slender... if you have bigger arms, this might be a little too snug for comfort. I am pleasantly surprised and would recommend it.
"Super versatile" 01/17/11
I have had this jacket for a few weeks now, and regularly wear it to the office with a dress shirt, nice and warm in the car, but wouldn't wear it alone outdoors for a long period of time on a windy day. That's when it is great as a midlayer. Wore it under my shell for the Steeler game and stayed relatively warm during 5 hours of inactivity.
