Namo Amitabha. This jacket offer excellent fit and finish. The fabric is smooth, light, breathabe and warm. My skin is very sensitive. No itchy feeling period. Totally change the way i think of tradiional wool. This wool is Marieno wool in NZ. The cutting fit me pretty good. I ordered a small size. NAMO AMITABHA..

"The fit is all wrong across the chest" 11/12/11

The piece is great, by way of looks and construction, but the cut across the chest is too tight.

"Great concept, lousy fit" 01/13/11

I own a lot of icebreaker base and mid-layers and was expecting to love this hoody. Until I put in on. The styling of the jacket is decent, the fabric is awesome, but the cut of the garment is all wrong. It's too tight across the upper back and too baggy on the top of the shoulders. I called icebreaker to complain and the person there confirmed the fit is getting revised for their 2011 version. So, sadly, this one is on its way back to Moosejaw and I'll be waiting to try again in the Fall.

"Softest and most comfortable of Icebreaker's jacket material" 08/17/10

The Aspiring uses a new (for their line) soft inner weave which adds makes this jacket the most comfortable of their jackets to wear IMO. I have other pieces from their collection which use the old 'loop' structure, and I find some of these to be somewhat itchy at times. I like that this piece has relatively clean lines, although the chest pocket stitching may ruin this for some. I use this as a casual warm layer.
