"Too small, much better stuff out there for the price" 02/21/12

I bought this for running with high expectations based on Icebreaker’s track record. The hat is simply too small. I have a small to medium head (7 and 3/4 hat size) AND I am bald so there is no hair taking up space either. This fits but just barely. I am also disappointed in how thin it is: think nylon dress sock thickness and it is not especially stretchy either. That said, it is warm and it would work as a helmet liner or in combination with a more substantial hat. I recommend the Pearl Izumi or Descente’s Cold Out lycra hat for running. Altogether, for the price this thing gets a thumbs down.
