My go-to gloves!I use these as a liner for my leather gloves and my skiing mitts. They're perfect as an insulating layer as my hands never, ever get cold. By themselves they're adequate in near-freezing or sub-freezing temperatures to pop open the ski rack or scrape the windshield, but I'm not sure I'd go very long with just these on my hands in temps like that. To be expected with any liner the grip is a bit slippery, but that's a minor quibble. I could actually unlock and use my smartphone with these on and that was an unexpected surprise. Results may very depending on your phone, but that's a plus in my book. Liked them so much I got a pair for my son to use too.

Great Glove LinersPurchased these thinking the pic was an accurate representation of the unobtrusiveness of the seams on the fingertips. Nope. These gloves have seams at the fingertips, so if you don't mind losing some tactile sensation/usability of your fingertips, which is further reduced by adding a second pair of gloves (they're liners!) and compounding the issue, then these are the gloves for you. I found the seams at the ends of the fingers annoying, but if the quality of the material and fit it more important then I say "bingo" good gentle sirs and fair maidens. Fingers of these gloves I found to run long, even with my long/skinny fingers, which was a welcome relief and is much more adjustable with this stretchy wool than having gloves be too short. Plus they are wool, gloriously soft wool that mitigates the smell that one's sweaty hands can produce through extended glove usage and the partaking of frivolities and shenanigans. Couldn't use my iPhone with these unless I mashed my fingers... fyi.
