Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great shoe I own several models of Hoka shoes and I love them all. The Odysseys are my second favorite, with the Clifton being my favorite. I would compare the Odyssey as a cross between the Conquest and the Clifton, an excellent combination. This pair is highly cushioned yet responsive and light. They are very streamlined in appearance and look cute! You will fall in love. I am a runner and I use these shoes for running but I have also started wearing my Hoka shoes to work. My co-workers are also purchasing these shoes because of the comfort and also because they make you a little bit taller, which is nice for the short ladies! We are loving it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable footwear ever! Second pair of these that I have purchased. I am not a runner or biker. Instead I read other reviews and purchased these because I have arthritis in my feet. They met all of my requirements for large toe box, roller bar technology and comfort. I can also fit my orthotics in them. They're the most comfortable active shoe that I have ever worn. So light..they only weigh about 4 ounces...great for exercising and walking. I recommend them to all my friends and, I have had strangers stop me and ask me how I like them....I think they are attracted to the bright colors. No negative comments to add.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great style ...tongue fabric too thin I really liked this new shoe and was hoping to keep it and compare the extra cushioning to my Clifton's, which I LOVE. I bought two pair of this shoe (5 & 5.5). Both pair I had problems with the tongue fabric rolling under when I slipped my foot into the shoe. This was a problem because my socks were visible through the lace area. I tried this several times and was able to straighten out the fabric with my fingers after getting the shoe on my foot. However, I am not willing to do this every time I put my shoes on and I found it annoying. Hoka needs to perfect this shoe by cutting the tongue fabric a little wider or use a stiffer interfacing so the fabric does not roll, as is the case in my Cliftons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One word: COMFORT I'm 6' 220 and jog 20 to 25 miles per week and I have extreme issues with my feet due to multiple surgeries and reconstruction resulting from recurrent clubfeet at birth. Needless to say, it's hard to find running shoes that work for me. The Hoka One One Odyssey is the most comfortable shoe I've found. The cushioning is great during my runs and my feet feel much better afterward as well. After two weeks, I'm a new Hoka fan. Too early to speak on durability and hopefully the structure of the shoe will not give to the outward roll of my feet too soon. 5 stars; just ordered another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As expected These shoes are my "go to" gym shoes. My Hoka Clifton 2's are my outdoor shoe. I do prefer the Odyssey's unpadded tongue over the new design of the Clifton's. My biggest complaint about all of the Hoka's I've owned is the wear of the sole on the outside. I'm a petite woman who only puts in 25-40 miles per week, depending on what I'm training for. Hoka's don't last more than 3 months in my closet. Economically, I should be looking to another brand altogether, but I can't imagine any other shoe being as comfortable as my Hoka's. I wish the designers would improve this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not what I was hoping Bought this based on other reviews about it being a cross between the Bondi & Clifton. The fit is definitely narrower, making it uncomfortable for longer runs. There is plenty of cushioning but it's a firmer feel than those models. This may make it more responsive for some people, but for me it just made my feet sore & glutes twinge. I have the Bondi 3, Clifton 1 & Challenger ATR & love them all. Unfortunately because I bought these online, I can't return after trying them out. I bought the other models through local running stores, but none of them had the Odyssey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally I found the best running shoes I was looking for i used to buy Nike brand , but have problems losing toe nails. I run half and full marathons. I struggle finding the perfect shoe because of my high arch and I need wide shoes. Nike change models every year and discontinue their models. Which I hate... But finally after reading reviews in every single model of running shoes... Hokas odyssey was the perfect option. I try them and I just felt in love. I never go back to Nike or any other brand. I love my Hokas odyssey . The first week I got them ran 17 miles straight for my marathon training this December.. And I felt great , no need to brake them in. I ran in clouds. Please Hoka one one!!! Don't stop making this model or change them. I will buy this brand and model forever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Marathon training I absolutely love these shoes. I was having Achilles problems with my Asics and I have not had any problems since switching to these Hokas. My longest run yet has been 18 miles and I didn't have any pain. They are so lightweight, it's like running on a cloud. I bought these in early May and it's now September and I'm buying a new pair because there is wear on the bottom. I run between 50-100 miles per month. Even though they didn't last long, it's worth it to me to get another pair because they are so comfortable.
