FEATURES of the Hilleberg Anjan 2 Person Tent
Super light tent designed for hiking adventures in warmer and snow-free environments and well protected terrain
Take on 3 season backpacking or hunting trips and great for those going solo who want quite a bit of room to themselves
When the highest priority of your trip is keeping the gear at its lowest weight possible, the Anjan 2 totally shines
The Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric along with the 9mm poles form a super strong and lightweight tent, able to withstand strong wind conditions
Features 3 season construction, which means that the outer tent walls do not extend to the ground and the mesh areas have no backing fabric panels to keep a nice airflow in hot and cold environments
Ideal for on foot journeys, thanks to the tunnel construction that provides an ample space to weight ratio
Able to pitch the tent simultaneously with the linked but separable inner liner and out tent
The tunnel design only requires the four pegs for pitching, not to mention the lightweight pole system blends 9 mm poles with Lock Tip ball ends, open ended pole sleeves, and super innovative grommeted webbing tab that features an adjustable tensioner. Wow that's a mouth full.
The single entrance and vestibule keeps the weight low while providing easy access and plenty of storage space
Lightweight tent intended to be used in warmer, snow-free environments
Feature inner tents with large mesh panels that cannot be covered and outer tent walls that are shorter but can be lowered on one side for weather protection
Not ideal for high altitude terrain or adventures way off the beaten path, but excellent for long or short trips in protected terrain
The outer tent does not go all the way to the ground, which gives a nice balance of lightweight tent with constant air flow
Designed with lighter weight zippers, Hilleberg’s lightest inner tent and floor fabrics, and their lightest pegs
Features guy lines, a mesh door, a bathtub floor, rollable wall, and inner pockets to stay organized. Amazing.
Add on the optional footprint (not included) that will cover only the inner tent area (not the vestibule), connecting directly to the tent, and can be left attached to the tent even when pitching. Footprints add extra durability, protection from the elements, and longevity to your tent's life, so for sure think about adding it to your order.
For added customization and versatility, the inner tent can be replaced with a Mesh Inner tent. Mesh Inner tent is not included, please don't hate us.
Experience total flexibility with the outer and inner tents' capability of being used separately
Pitching the inner tent on its own will require moving the detachable pole holders from the outer to the inner tent. Kind of like how Optimus Prime transforms. Not really.
Tent comes with all the pegs, poles, and lines you need to get setup, including an extra repair section, but grabbing a few extras of each wouldn't be a bad thing
Hilleberg offers a variety of accessories to go along with this tent, which allow for additional stability, flexibility, and durability when you will need it most
Please note on the colors that the actual tent color can vary from the one pictured due to the natural variations of fabric dyes

BombproofI bought this tent to use on the West Coast Trail and just had the opportunity for a weekend trip to test it out. One of the best features is that you can leave the outer fly attached to the inner tent, so setting up in the rain won't ruin your day. Similarly if you opt for the footprint, it can also remain attached. This is not an ultralight tent, but for me the balance of quality, durable materials and space/weight is perfect. Though technically a two-person tent, for routine use, it's more like 1+ ( as is true of virtually all backpacking tents). The vestibule is plenty large enough to store your backpack and boots. Way to go, Hilleberg! Loving my new tent.

I bought this tent in November 2015. I also purchased 2 other tents for comparison. ( Each of the 2 other tents were priced at $400 US). I set up all three tents in my basement and compared the 3 tents. In my opinion, due to the configuration of the Anjan, ( connection of the fly to the interior) I believe it will be the easiest of the 3 to set up in a strong wind. Also the Anjan has better construction with more durable materials ( which one would expect at a price of over $600 US). My primary concern about the Anjan is that the ventilation does not appear to be as good as the other 2 tents -- so on a warm nite it is going to be a bit hot. I have not used the Anjan as yet, so time will tell.

Light at the end of the tunnel :)So, Hilleberg Anjan 2.
Expensive as... well, as all good equipment:)
I was choosing between this tent and 1p tent and decided that this one is more versatile. It's so light that I titally don't mind carying it during my solo hikes.
It's a bit tricky to pitch it if you have experience only with X-, Y- pole type tents, so do it first time somewhere in the park before your trip. Figuring it out in the night when it's snowing/raining can be a bit...frustrating :)
Also, entrance wall is 80% mesh. So you'll have really good ventilation, but when temperature hits single digits it is something you have to keep in mind.
Overall great tent (Hilleberg, duh) but before you buy it be sure that you have enough vacation days for your backpacking trips :)
It HAS to be used to be worth the money you paid for it.

Versatile! Amazing 3-season tent!I did a lot of research before finally purchasing this tent. It's amazing for so many reasons. (1) Quality. The material and design of the tent are made to keep the elements out. The Kerlon 1000 material feels so durable compared to other 2-person tents. I've read multiple reviews stating this tent can withstand >60 mph winds. (2) Setup time. Though the tent is non-freestanding and does require other guy lines, setup time is less than 5 minutes. Great video from the manufacturer of a guy setting this up, solo, in 30 mph direct wind. (3) Versatility. You can configure this tent in so many ways. For example, floor-less, partial tarp shelter, 3 sides rolled up. You can even setup the inner tent by itself just using the poles. (4) Weight. The entire tent with all poles and stakes = 3 pounds 14.5 ounces. I love this tent.

Bomber Tent!!!!This tent is easily the best tent that I have ever bought. It is very light for its size and is easy to setup. I love that I can setup the fly and then attach the inner tent in case it is raining--a feature rarely seen. I also love the size of the vestibule; I can open it halfway and crawl in, keeping rain from falling into the inner-tent. All in all, this tent excels at keeping the elements out!

Yes!!!Snagged this during my favorite Easter Egg Hunt Sale when I found a 40% egg and discovered that it is _well_worth_ its full, regular price.,,,,This tent is amazing. Exceptionally spacious, durable, and incredibly weather resistant. The design can take serious weather. Every material used is top-tier, hands down. It pitches very, very easily and quickly.,,,,Here are just 2 few of many of my favorite aspects:,,,,* It is 2 tents in one. The outer tent can be pitched and used as a gathering place/gear organizing area/whateveryouwant while the inner tent can be pitched separately. In rain you can take down your dry inner tent and pack it away while keeping it dry and without you or it getting wet. Of course you can reverse the process but the inner tent will stay dry in rain even when the tent is regularly set up (ie not separated).,,,,* The pole sleeves were ingeniously engineered so that they can take an extra set of poles for super rough weather. And it comes with 1 extra pole section!

Worth the Price -- Totally SolidI recently bought the Anjan 2 but was hesitant about the premium price tag. Then I took it on a solo backpacking trip to the Trinity Alps Wilderness. At one point it POURED all night and all day, with very strong winds, and the tent kept me totally dry. In fact, I estimate only 1-2 tablespoons of water leaked in total (at the corners). The tent was literally standing in a pool of water: you could pat the floor of the tent and it would ripple. If I had a lesser tent, I would have been sunk. Internal condensation is not an issue if you stake out the rain fly properly (although I was using it alone). This is the tent to get if you (correctly) think an UL tent will rip/break after a few uses.,,,,Pros: simple/intelligent design, good balance of light weight vs. rugged materials, very stable in the wind, a palace for one user, lots of guide lines to secure it.,,,,Cons: premium price, would be nice if the ceiling was a few inches taller (I'm 6 ft. and my head brushes the top), not free-standing.

Probably the best 3 season tentAll the details of this tent are really well made. I think it will last a long time. However, watch out for taller people, as the end of the tent is where your feet go. I'm 5'10 and my feet barely touch the inside of the tent. It can be an issue for cold camping. Also, can be hard to set up
