"Hestra excels along with Moosejaw service"
After owning a pair of Hestra Heli's for 2 years with gaunlet, was looking for an under the cuff glove. The Hestra Vertical cut Freeride was a great choice. After experiencing a fit issue with a different brand glove, I decided to go straight back to Hestra and happy I did. This glove provides warmth, breathability with all leather, dexterity, not bulky or heavy, and most important fits new like I have been wearing it for months. It will also double as an all around glove for winter activities, snow shoveling, etc. I am now going to look for a "spring" glove for shoulder seasons and will go right back to Hestra and Moosejaw!
When I saw the price tag, it gave me a gag reflex, lets be honest. How can a pair of gloves be worth so much? Am I stupid enough to get these? Trust me, I have tried TNF, Dakine, Burton, etc. My hands get so sweaty that the inside of the gloves gets wet, it then breaks to the outer layer and makes my hands cold. If you have this issue with sweaty hands, this glove is the ultimate remedy to that. I can be out snowboarding all day and not even stare at my hands, that's how good they are. Your hands become an afterthought. It is great on mobility and movement. These gloves are made of actual leather, that's why the cost is so high. I would highly recommend others to get a pair...they are the best gloves out on the market. The price is shocking but totally worth it. The bottom-line is utility, if you go often then this is the glove you must have!
